Some will agree on facts, some won't, some will post another fact, others will disagree and post their own facts or beliefs. What I read or understand as fact you may think is nonsense, and I may think your facts are nonsense. Some probably even many medical experts will absolutely state nicotine is addictive or experts may not believe so. Its a pointless argument that can't be won.

Per the OP, I vape for lots of reasons, primarily related to no longer smoking :) Fun and sanity are two big reasons, as well as continued lack of smoking.

I did get a buzz the time I built my first dripper and only had 30mg liquid, and when I switched to rayon for the first time, but it's been quite rare overall. Thankfully, it's satisfying even without the outright buzz!

I vape to keep from smoking. I'm 21 months into it and on occasion still have a strong desire for a cigarette. I do well when I'm not around smokers but when I am around them I sometimes find myself craving one really bad. I just remind myself how much better I feel, smell, and taste and the cravings go to the wayside.
I as well vape to keep from smoking. After 10 months vaping I can hardly stand the smell of analogs while walking around tilburgs centrum. Eventually that craving will go away, I smoked for 15 year's and am down to 6mg nic, just hang in there.

After smoking for 31 years, naturally, smoking had a stranglehold on me, so I vape out of pure habit (the hand-to-mouth-and-inhale-thing) and nicotine, as well. I'm slowly weaning myself off the nicotine, in the two years I've been vaping, I've dropped 3 nic levels. It's a slow process, but one I'm comfortable with, and one that satisfies me too.

I admit,

Sometimes I vape to get loaded. Yes, there, I said it. LOL.

I smoked CIGARS to get a nic buz, I replaced it with the vape to get a nic buz.
I now have much more control of the buz.

Ya, most of the time its just nic maintenance. But sometimes, its about 36mg in a dripper. Yehaa.

Thank God, for now, I still have the freedom to make such a decision.

I don't want to be the grouchy old woman on here (I'm not THAT old, but older than most vapers) but an 18 y/o vaping to "get a buzz" is EXACTLY what the FDA wants to read about to use against us. If u still get a buzz, stay away from nicotine altogether. You aren't addicted YET. I could bore you with the physiology of nicotine addiction, but instead, just realize, most of us cannot even remember when a cigarette gave us a buzz.

We should be a little careful what we post here. I'm sure the FDA has heard of the largest vaping forum & would love to find more ammunition in our own words.

wet blanket dropped on the thread, sorry. :)

I don't think you're a loser if you don't mind my 2 cents. Giving up lung cancer sticks seems very Un loser-y to me. We don't know if there's any long term health negatives to vaping but it HAS to be better than thousands of horrible chemicals we all know & hate! :D

Yeah haha thanks for agreeing with me on that. A lot of people talk about it in my classes that there's not enough research, but honestly, anything HAS to be better than cigarettes :D

I used to chat on ICQ with a guy in England, and he and I both are mystified by how tea can both energize and calm -- kinda like nicotine! :D

It doesn't "charge me up" the way that real coffee does, but maybe the caffeine will help my fatigue-headache. I didn't sleep well last night, had to get up early since today was payday/bill-pay day, and had a very stressful afternoon dealing with Comcast. Hence, a bad mammajamma of a headache!

For the record: I HATE COMCAST.

Side comment: I feel you on the comcast Andria!

Yeah, like im smoking 18mg right now and honestly its giving me a headache. I'm probably going to get something lower next time im at the shop. About to refill my tank with 12mg right now. However, that will probably give me a headache too. I guess I just bought high amounts right off the bat because im so used to smoking real cigarettes and I thought I would need it lol

I started with 18, and dropped to 6ml within two weeks. I'd drop to 3ml now, but I'm saving that for my first RTA.

Well, when I was a little kid, I was very fascinated by trains, and loved "The Little Engine That Could"

So as an adult, I do everything I can to make myself look like a train. Woo Wooo! Look at me blow steam!

Kinda funny the laws on keeping an eye on pharmaceutical crap is not harsher when the govt has to make ads about how bad it is to have kids mix stolen medication from their parents cabinet with booze; only goes to prove the government is NOT there for your good... just for your wallet.
