Since e liquid is (currently) pretty much unregulated, the price is set by supply and demand, and profit motive (and no, that's not a bad word).

If I'm in business and can sell you $1 worth of liquid for $15, I'll do it. Keep in mind though that even the online businesses do have some overhead, and the B&M shops have a lot more.

So you will have no problem paying me 50% commission if I am to bring you clients.

Why is eliquid so expensive, sometimes reaching $10 per bottle when cost to produce is often less than $1?

It's not just nicotine you are buying, it's the bottle, the PG/VG, the flavorings, the person mixing it for you, etc. Everyone has to make a living, they are also selling you their time.

I cut out the middle man and buy concentrated nic and cut it with Welcome to Tasty Vapor. :) :vapor:

So you make your own? Isnt it easier to buy them ready?

I'm here, when I'm here
What I have simply gathered is that vaping is not to save money but just an alternate hobby/addiction to stay away from smoking analogue's.
And ofcourse businesses today want to become millionaires/rich over night.

Did someone say "hobby"?? Please see signature below...:D

Happy Vaping!! :vapor:

Easier means less control and more costly. I can refine/choose the PG/VG %, nic level, and flavor. I can also store large quantities of concentrated nic in my freezer. :D AND I don't have to wait for it. I have all the supplies I'll ever need, ready and waiting, for me and about 4 other people that vape. :)

Exactly the response I was going to give. Supply and demand, basic economics. Cover your expenses (materials, r&d, labor, overhead, advertising, etc...) then charge what people will pay above the expense it took to create the product.

Better to just get into diy if your into that sort of thing or would like to save money.
Now just remember it might get a little costly buying all sorts of different flavors some might taste like crud to you.
I got disappointed for a little while till I learned about the calculators and found the ejuiceme up calculator. That and learning to let them sit in the drawer and forget them for a little while or ultra sonic them.
Some flavors from different juice flavoring company's might taste better than others.

If you get into diy I would buy the smaller bottles "8ml" to test with. Then I would cut out the flavoring middle man and go buy direct from
the maker. Buying in bulk also helps. I have family covered for at lest 5 years If nothing goes bad lol
