Why I did not have any withdrawal effects?

When I was going through the posts during my days of preparation for qutting smoking, I learned that I will be having terrible side effects in the first week - headache, increased apetite etc etc. I started vaping on 21.08.11 (a week back) and I never had any of these. I haven't smoked an analogue (I kept a pack with me in case and I still have that), no physical craving, a bit psychological one which was easy to overcome. I have got through periods when I thought I would need it -- when extremely stressed, after eating a meal, just after waking up in the morning, when drinking in the pub etc etc.

Can it be so easy? I just can't believe it.

I bought an e-cig in March 2011 for the hell of it. I had a full carton of cigs the day the e-cig arrived.

After my first vape, I never touched another cig, never had any 'withdrawl' issues, and have no desire to ever touch a cig again.

SHORT ANSWER- "YES" it can be that simple.
Congratulations!

What did you do with that carton??

I started on 08/16/2011, I had 1-3 analogues a day till the 22nd. On the 22nd, I woke up and haven't had an analogue since. No withdrawal symptoms whatsoever. In fact my appetite seems to be down. And of course all the stuff I liked the taste of while smoking now tastes like crap! I actually have to find a new beer, because the one my wife and I drink is crap now!

Almost the same boat. No side effects, although during a particularly stressful day at work one day, I lit one of my leftover cigs up. I didn't make it halfway through the thing. Willpower had nothing to do with it, it was just gross!

Haven't tried an analogue for a week, so no idea how it would be like. I can tell that I already don't like the smell.

The smell definitely. It also left a gross taste/film in my mouth, and felt LESS like smoking, if that makes any sense at all. Throat hit has gotten so good with vaping that smoking just didn't satisfy me with taste or throat hit. The exact 2 biggest concerns I had about vaping when I started
