Why is a Provari P3 even a viable choice.

Ah, you don't do any of that stuff I mentioned. I wasn't trying to imply that you or most ProVari owners do. I myself happen to be a satisfied ProVari owner. ProVari owners and fans are mostly just fine, but there is a minority subset of those fans that are just obnoxious. The ones who attack anyone who says anything the least bit critical of a ProVari and turn all these threads ugly. They remind me of some of the toxic Harley Davidson fans I know. If you felt it was directed at you it wasn't, but I apologize if it offended.

Isn't it possible it just ignore those posts instead of adding fuel to the fire?

I mean some of the nonsense in this thread is getting into the realm of measuring vapor production in cubic feet per minute.

WHOA, slow down there cowboy. That ain't the way we do things in this neck of the woods.

    Yes. Yes it is.

    I'll repeat myself one time:

We need to stow the attitudes and condescension and ....-hurt feelings in here folks, it's getting a little warm.

A quick reminder of the rules seem to be needed:

    http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/ecf-forum-rules/51178-forum-rules.html

    8. Courtesy
    a. Members must be polite at all times. When addressing another Forum user, you will be polite. Courteous discussion is welcome here but heated and abusive argument is not. If attacked you are not allowed to respond in kind. Instead use the Private Message system and try to resolve matters privately and amicably. If problems persist ask for the help of a Moderator.

    9. Personal attacks
You can disagree with the subject matter of a post, but never personally attack the poster - “Attack the post, not the poster”. Treat people as you would like to be treated yourself: with courtesy.

    10. Misconduct
    a. These are not permitted -
    • Flaming (insults).
    • Criticising or complaining about a Moderator, or how the site is run, except via PM (private message).
    • Discussion or mention of illegal/illicit drugs or sexual content.
    • Posting of vulgar videos.
    • Obscene or vulgar language.
    • Trying to place offensive text in a post by evading the forum's built-in word censor, using symbols or alternative letters for example.
    • Multiple identities/accounts: each member is allowed only one account on the ECF Forums. This also applies to Facebookers (one account only on ECF).
    • Spamming for post count (placing meaningless posts) is against the rules.

Some folks forget that the beauty of having multiple devices from multiple vendors, as that more individual preferences can be accommodated, whether it's cosmetic or functional, there's something for everyone. As long as you are happy with it, that is all that matters.

Sorry - but I couldn't resist. Be upset if you must. I do not care. Besides, this thread could use a short digression.

Happy Birthday, my friend, Springy. Wait! That's not right. It's your birthday.

    Happy Birthday, Pinggolfer. :)

My advise is since you never owned a Provari, but have a 11 watt VV3's which you still use as I do on occasion, why make a big deal deal of 20 watts? If you owned a Provari and hated it by all means reveal the details, if not it's simple you made your point and now move on. They must be dozens of mods which start at 30 watts which is your magic number now. Find them and find out what mod fits your vaping needs. To continually and I do mean continually put down ProVari is over kill. No matter how many posts you make on this thread you are not going to make me or other Provari owns agree with your logic.

You talk about the subject but the OP made one post on this thread, the first one. What does that tell you?

My itaste sits unused (fully charged and ready as an emergency back up of course). I in fact have found a device that suits my vaping style. It however is a box, and unlike some, I prefer tube mods, regardless of what some think they look like. You don't have to agree with me, the logic speaks for itself. If they made the p3 10 watts more the sales would be higher by bringing in people like me to the family. That's just simple economics, the more people you can interest in your product the more you will sell

One thing is certain: The Provari has a kind of magnetic attraction unmatched by any other mod on the planet. For evidence, read this thread and the hundreds of other threads just like it. Then compare it to any thread about any other 15 or 20 W mod out there.

The difference is very obvious. Very few bother to write lengthy explanations and arguments about why the Semovar, the Vamo or the VaporsharkDNA20 doesn't have enough power for them, and how outdated these mods are. But the Provari? Everybody is talking about the Provari, always. I'm not 100% sure why that is, but it's kinda unique.

An obvious major difference is those companies didn't stop there, and have since released higher wattage mods

I've already given one method to how they could have done it safely, and being no genius, I'm sure there are many other ways it could be done that I haven't thought of.... You really think provape couldn't figure out a way? Because even I can figure out a way to do it, the safety argument just doesn't fly with me.

    WHO WANTS CAKE???

Sending over Ringo to sing it for me? The highlight of my day. Thanks DP. I'm anxious to have a piece of cake as my wife is making me my favorite. Devils food chocolate cake made from scratch.

I'm so happy you found a device which suits your needs. So it's a moot point to continue along with what ProVape should be doing. You use simple economics as a reason why ProVape won't sell as much? Sell as many units compared to what company? Do you use the same reasoning with a company such as Jaguar? They should be making a car which would appeal more to Kia owners and sales would certainly increase.

Since you have your perfect box mod why not share it's name and show some pictures of it. I know it can't be a clone as you did say you would purchase a 30 watt Provari. So show us what this great mod looks like and tell us all it's features. You use a camera much better then I can as you posted high quality pictures of your coil builds. Put your photographic skills back to work.

Perhaps they feel, as others, that high power vaping brings out certain nasties from juice and coils that 20 watts and below doesn't...

I believe you are on the west coast as is Provape. Who knows they might find your advise helpful. I'd vouch for you. You just may start a new division of ProVape. I can't argue with innovation. Thanks for the bday wish.

The difference being the Kia doesn't vastly over power the jaguar for less money.....

I'm surprised at your lack of memory for some things, yet you remember my build pics.....selective? My box mod is a Hana clone (one of the better clones but still a clone). I've discussed this with you before. That though my finances are extremely limited, I would scrimp and save for a provari IF it met my power needs. I won't do that for a Hana, it meets my power needs, but isn't my ideal mod otherwise. That being said, it fit my budget at the time, build quality is good (aircraft grade aluminum, clean wiring), has worked flawlessly.......but it's still a box that doesn't fit in my handy homemade vape case with my mechs.
