Why is every supplyer slow to ship lately?

I ordered from ecigarettecigar for the first time, so far they are really slow.. I ordered on early Monday morning and it is now Thursday and I have yet to get anything syaing it has been shipped or is going to be shipped.. I got a reciept showing my order had been paid for, but that is it.. I also ordered Monday morning from JC and it shipped out on Wednesday..
If any of these places get their supplies from China it may be due to a Chinese Holiday. Pratically everything shuts down in China during that time for several days.. I'm not sure when that is though, so I maybe wrong..

Just a thought, I recently placed a "pre-order" with VaporNine, & I'm wondering whether this "pre-order" is merely a way for the supplier to cash-up before placing an order to China. If supplier shipping times are slower across the board, perhaps it's because suppliers are selling pieces out of orders from China that they haven't yet received. I see how this would be tempting, taking orders based on projected inventory. It provides cash to finance business operations amidst the uncertainty of future shipments.
No slight on individual suppliers here; I've dealt with 3, & all have been solid!

I just know that a friend of mine was running a small business with items from China a few years ago and he had several orders and this Chinese Holiday put many items on hold for several days.. Once the holiday was over he had many back orders to fill.
Like I said I could be wrong about when their holidays are, but I do know they have one holiday that is several days long sometime during early spring and most everything shuts down.. So many of these suppliers could have been caught with their pants down or it also maybe customs..
Just guessing and speculation on my part..
Received my order today!
Still waiting on mine placed on 04/03, the status was chaned to "shipped" on the 7th, but usps tracking only says it recieved digitl information to expect the package for sending and the site's online tracking only gives me a blank page. So honestly I don't know if it's even on it's way yet.
My pink one came yesterday- ordered around the 30th? Hope this is okay to post (like anyone reads all the rules-I'm bad I know), I got an email on the 8th, so if you didn't get it here's the copy, I've deleted most of the other ones so if I find them:

Unfortunately our inventory replacement order did not arrive Tuesday as expected but here is our tracking number (I'm not allowed to post the tracking number, because of number of posts ) for everyone it is now in San Francisco at customs it should clear today everything goes smoothly we will have it tomorrow.
I will be setting up your invoices / boxes and shipping labels Wednesday. You each will receive emails so if can check your tracking numbers do so Thursday as I have a lot of orders to process from last week.
Again I would like to thank you all for your patience and be sure to check your boxes for each of your special gifts and again sorry for the delay.
