I've been vaping on this flavor for 3 days now at 24mg and for some reason, I still get no flavor from it, apart from my first few drags after getting it. I recently came back to ECF, after a lengthy hiatus and I know that my taste buds have to adjust, but this is ridiculous because I've never had it this bad. Does anyone else have this same issue with any Backwoods Brew liquids?! It's all I have right now and I'm getting peeved.

I just ordered some applewood from BWB and should be here in a day or so. I hope its not bland with all the great reviews it got. After I try it I will let you know what I think.

Great, please do let me know. I've seen great reviews of it too and that's why I placed my order. The few hits that I got flavor from was amazing and that's why I'm so sad. Lol.

I just ordered some as well. Just got it in. Are you dripping, cartomizer, and or atty? I just tried it dripping because I want to steep it. Tasted fine. The tobacco menthol is exactly like tasty vapor . Weird but I just tried some Tasty vapor Tobacco menthol. Identical flavor.

I'm on a 510 atty. I both, drip and use fluval filled carts. I wish that I could taste what you do! *sigh*:(

I am sorry. Try putting it away for a day or so and then try it. I am using a ego mega atomizer. I will try again in a few days with a ego cartomizer. I did taste it but didn't say if I like it yet...still waiting.

some people say it helps leaving the bottle open for a night or so (away from kids and pets) to let air in to help on the steeping process.

I checked that thread out about steeping, but I got startled about what one member said. They said that the nicotine oxidizes, and that's why the color becomes deeper. I'm a little afraid of doing that long-term(Or at all, really). I'm not trying to bat anyone's help down, nor substituting your reality for my own lol. I guess I just think too critically. I suppose that I'll try it with 1ml or 2. Thanks. :)

I ordered my last batch from them with extra flavor. I tasted a sample I got in PIF a month ago, and it definitely had the flavor people described, the most pronounced for me was a tart apple with tones of a wood smoker.

Well, at first, I was definitely able to taste the tart apple, but no smokiness. Is the smokiness like a Johnson Creek smokiness?

I felt the same way about BWB Maple Tobacco. Nothing. Visited it once a week to see. Nothing. Then about 3 1/2 weeks out of the mail, wham. I experienced something similar with Casablanca Blend, but it was vapeable right out of the mail, it just became spectacular after 3 weeks. BWB Cherry Tobacco also tasted like cherry Jolly Rancher to me. That settled down after a while, although I still feel the cherry is more of a candy flavor. Don's juice, for whatever reason, generally gets better somewhere in between 2-4 weeks, in my experience.

If you are not able to taste the smokiness (I am still wanting to try this BWB flavor too) the seasonal Apple Cider flavor from JC sounds just up your alley. Unless you don't like their stuff, it definitely has the Apple & disctinct smoke together. I am also diluting it and it still has a strong flavor.

Wow. My taste buds must be really jacked up. Lol. I've been contemplating on trying JC again anyway. I used to love the Original JC. Maybe I just have to re-adjust to vaping, as I have been vaping exclusively(Again...) for only 3 days. Thank you all for the great help! Happy vaping...:vapor:

The error in this equation: Can I make any juice last that long?! Lol.

I am wondering that about Vapors Etc Captain Jack. I am liking it so much I wonder if my 15ml bottle will last two weeks so I can see if it gets better :)

Lol. I had a 30ml bottle of Halo Newpure(Now Truepure... Meh) once... She was all gone in two weeks. I think that I may have an underlying problem that even vaping won't solve.

DarKm, how long have you been vaping again? A lot of people find that at about the 3week mark or so their tastebuds go kind of awol for juices (everything else tastes fine, the vapor seems to be the only "blah" thing).

If that could be it, brush your tongue or better, get a tongue scraper, drink a lot of water, and vape some menthol if you've got it in the meantime.

I am back from my adventure into the steeping drawer in the garage. I have only had this juice a week, and the flavor is mild right now. And this one was ordered with extra flavor. The sample I have is more flavorful, but it has steeped plenty. So I have to agree with the above poster about letting it steep. This will not be a problem as I went juice sample nuts in a 2 month period and could practically open up a small vape lounge.
