Why is my BWB Applewood so bland?

Almost everything I've read on BWB Applewood says that its one of the flavors that needs to steep to reach its flavor. When first shipped its taste is very mild. I just got mine on Friday and was very mild flavored. I left the top off Friday night, put it back on Saturday evening, shook, and now its in the cupboard steeping for two weeks. Melonbacco had a great taste when it arrived so I've enjoyed some of that and Cherry tobacco is ok too but I can't wait to see how all three taste two weeks from now. Fortunately I have plenty of other juice so steeping time is no problem for me other than my want of vaping what's new when it arrives

DarKm, how long have you been vaping again? A lot of people find that at about the 3week mark or so their tastebuds go kind of awol for juices (everything else tastes fine, the vapor seems to be the only "blah" thing).

If that could be it, brush your tongue or better, get a tongue scraper, drink a lot of water, and vape some menthol if you've got it in the meantime.

I'm able to taste these juices just fine, but the Backwoods Brew seems to be more Backdoor Brew(Sorry, I had to throw in a scat joke, lol). No flavor, whatsoever. I may see if I can get a refund, or just wait a while on this juice.

My money would definitely be on waiting a while - as many others have said, some juices just take a while to come together right, for whatever magical-science-y reason. In the future (once you're firmly hooked on Don's juice ) I'd say to order a fruit flavor with your applewood or whatever - those seem to be perfect right out of the box, and you can hit it while you wait for your other stuff to steep a bit.

I'll TRY to wait a while, I guess. I'll sneak some of my friend's juice in the meantime, until payday lol. As for the reason why I started smoking again.... a pregnancy scare from my ex. Scared the be-jesus out of me and almost wigged out. I was only able to think of one thing that I thought would calm me down: analogs(bum bum bummmm... lol).

I think that the juice has developed a tad of flavor now. I can taste more apple, but no smokiness yet. I did find a little of my Halo Cool that I forgot about, so I should be alright for a few more days. Thanks for the kind gesture though! The non-pregnancy was relief beyond belief, lol(I made a rhyme... Go me). I'm not celebrating it in a way that causes me to worry about it again, lol.

my applewood is scheduled to arrive tomorrow. After I do mmy initial first day test, Ill post here and let you know what I think.

I have to say though. My other three flavors from them while good first day, got demostratively better after a week of steeping.

Finally got my applewood in and it is very mild but good . Going to leave the cap off a day and let it sit and see if that does the trick. Kinda taste like a mild jolly rancher. Not that crazy about it. I have have 6 different flavors coming in from FSUSA and should be interesting to see how much flavor they have.

Mine is okay, in the most derogatory sense of the word. I just got my 306 atty and Joye cartos today, and the flavor comes out a bit through the cartos, but really at all through the 306 atty. It's mainly hit and/or miss.

Mine has been steeping for a week(or what I have left of it). I would get a 5v device if I weren't border-line poor, lol(I'm actually crying inside). I'll get a 5v device when our government figures out this whole recession(*cough*depression*cough*) thing. Lol.

I am newish to BWB myself but some of his flavors have very little taste to me. Applewood is one of them along with Vanilla Bean & Malty Toffee. It's too bad about the MT because those first few vapes are joyous. Pumpkin Spice is forgettable as well.

On the upside the Hunter's Blend is tasty juju, the RY4 is a party in my mouth and the BWB Casablanca is one of my favorite juices ever. Casablanca > Boba's Bounty, Dulcis, RY5, VR4. Not really sure what beats it actually.

He has some serious mojo going with the tobacco goodies.

I bought applewood and all I can say is that its okay...nothing I would order again. The tobacco menthol is exact flavor as Tasty vapor (at least to me). Nothing spectacular yet! LR helps somewhat. I was expecting an apple taste with the applewood. I get a small hint of that flavor. I will let it sit for another two weeks and see if that changes (some voodoo magic?)the flavor.

And that is what I love about it. For a more pronounced but never gaggy apple taste it is all about Green Apple.

Its subtle to an extent but definately an all day. I find that overpowering flavors only add to taste bud dilemmas, and in your face flavors cant be used as all day vapes as they become overpowering.

And that is what I love about it. For a more pronounced but never gaggy apple taste it is all about Green Apple.

Well Don, I get a small blast of apple in the morning(The best apple flavor, IMO) and that's what I become sad about throughout the rest of the day.... That I can't taste it anymore til the next morning. I don't even pick up any smokiness or tobacco. It's like vaping non-flavored all day....

How long have you been vaping and what is your setup? Also how long off analogs and how long have you had it? It could just be a taste bud thing. Ive gone through it more times that I can shake a stick at. Ive had where everything tastes good, to everything tastes bad and no taste at all. I probably vape a lot more than most with testing things everyday but sometimes it can be your buds and also can be hardware related as well. Some flavors when intermingled take the flavor away from others so if your using the same atty and switching back and forth this can cause a problem. Try staying away from it for a few days, I find if I vape the same thing for any length of time I lose taste to it and until I leave it alone for a while I dont get taste back. If you are tasting it right away in the am then losing taste I would say your buds could be to blame.
