SO if you think you have wicking issues, it is generally accepted in the forum that the thicker the wick and the more solid the wick and the more wick material you use the bettter the wicking. Also the higher wick count the better...so 400 SS wicks better than 325. I totally agree with all this. Straw like wicks only work if you do the genesis tilt....IMO they suck.

Try this out...it might make a big difference. Fill the tank...take the top cap off and tilt the PV so that it is horizontal. Do 5 burns....each ten second long. This will break in the coil and improve the vape a lot.

I like a pretty heavy duty vape but since trying the twisted 32g thing on my AGA-T I am over whelmed, it reminds me of when I was a teen and bought this huge cigar (gag gift). I realize I can turn down the power since I'm using VV but until I did holy sh***. I'm not sure if I can do the same deal on my DUD or not because the coils are almost touching the post now.

My DUD is my only straw like wick, it was more of an experiment, I have tried added another wick to the inside of it which is not quite the same I suppose. I'm going to order some 500 mesh and 28k wire here directly and have another go at it.

The review I saw with the DuD from COV said that it at the best air flow compared to many clones. Just wondering you if drilled your hole out more? I still consider my a somewhat stiffer draw (which I don't mind at all). Still ... can't help but think that I might get better flavor, and especially vapor by opening the hole a little ...

I don't know which DiDalikes you have. The early ones had a very small air hole. I believe it was 1 mm. The later ones had a larger hole, which I believe was 1.5 mm. I had both, and found that I preferred the vapor, flavor, and easier draw, with the larger hole, so I drilled out the ones I had with the small one. YMMV

If you look at the first post of this thread you can see the hole, I drilled it too big then reduced it with a piece of an air tube from a clearomizer. probably 1.5 now
