[shameless post building so i can escape the new member ghetto]

I deliberately use lower nic strengths at home because i find myself chain-vapeing anyway to enjoy the flavors, and the higher strength liquids were making my head spin.

That said, if i'm going out i'll take higher strengths with me just because i don't want to be puffing away every 15 seconds.

Except they don't come close to duplicating the throat hit from nicotine. Burning and irritating, yes. Throat hit like nicotine provides - no. If they worked that well, it would be plastered on every vaping site across the world and everyone would be using them.

Caridwen knows of what she types. They can't come close to matching the TH from nicotine. It's why so few people use them and they are not well known. Now if you like burning and irritation in the throat, they may work for you.

For those who want some type of throat sensation without the burning and can't handle average nic levels such as 16mg, I suggest trying some menthol. No burning but does give a throat sensation. Not like nic but not irritating either.

Oh I see so my experience and opinion is wrong, We are talking about an additive that costs like $2 for a lil bottle of it, All I did was post my experience and opinion, I hate menthol, I can't vape PG, So this was simply what works for me...

But I guess I don't know what I like, Thank you for correcting me, And for pointing out the burning and irritation (That I never did, Unless I used it wrong) Please tell me how to vape kind all knowing veteran!!!

She stated hers as an opinion... As you can see! Where as you simply state "They can't come close to matching" Well that's strange... Because they do for "Me"... PPM (Parts Per Million) it's interesting stuff, you should read up on it, very helpful when doing DIY. Oh and FYI, Nicotine has the same effect when in to high a concentration.

To me, they're more irritants than anything.

A little "sensitive" aren't you. I simply stated what I and hundreds of other vapers have stated about this product on various vaping forums. That it isn't anything like the throat hit that comes from nicotine and that it provides a burning/irritating feeling. I think providing alternatives for someone looking for something to replace the TH in low nic eliquid is fine. It's too bad you are so thin-skinned that providing a different opinion of this product by many others who have used it, is more than you can handle.

I offered another alternative but correctly stated that it is not like the TH from nicotine but may work for someone using low or 0 nicotine eliquid.

If this product completely duplicated the TH from nicotine in 0 nic eliquid, it would be flying off the shelves and everyone would know about it. That isn't reality. For some, it may do enough for them to help them continue to use 0 nic eliquid and that is great for some. For most that doesn't seem to be the case. Implying that it is the same as the TH provided by nicotine is the only issue I have.

I'm not mad, I said my piece... And,
I love you too :)

Edit: I believe what I said was "Artificial" throat hit, Not sure I remember saying it was the "Same".

And I still love you!

Personally I want to get rid of the nicotine addiction eventually. Unless some really compelling evidence comes out that says it has health benefits, it's one more expense and piece of baggage that I don't need. That said, I am only 2 months coming off of a fairly heavy smoking habit (1.5-2 packs a day/20+ years) so in the near term I am sticking with 24mg until I feel totally ready for the next step.
