Why Target Vaping. Why Not Diet Soda?

The trouble is, there are no (not-so-)covered interests in keeping people drinking soda.

Because it those interests existed, and people started to switch to mineral water, we would see a lot of "science" regarding the "dangers of mineral water". :)

I heard there are minerals in anti freeze.

My point: why is vaping being targeted while thousands of other products that are KNOWN to pose health risks getting a pass? It's hypocritical. The war against smoking and vaping is and never was about health.
The war against smoking and vaping has little to do with public health and a lot to do with corporate tyranny, controlling the public by slowly taking away our human rights.

The key here is that the dose makes the poison. Over indulgence in pretty much anything has health risks.
Show me the diet soda label that tells the consumer how much of each ingredient is in there. Cause I can show you an eLiquid label that lists ingredients. So that reasonable request you note is, in at least some cases, covered in the world of ejuice.
Weird.... here's a diet 7up label that shows the ingredients.
