I'm curious. I went from a crappy Evod, to a Vision Spinner 2, to and MVP3.0, and now have an istick 50w to go with my mvp. I use a couple kanger subtanks and an aerotank just for flavor choice. I feel like I would never need anything better or especially more powerful than these ever. The highest wattage I vape at is like 16.5 max. So I see lots of people saying these are good starter boxes, or that theres is 100 watts, and whatever else. Why? I'm seriously curious. I mean hell with my track record of ugrades it's not far fetched that I'll be one of those people one day lol. But right now, I feel like it can't get much better as far as flavor, power, and battery life. I know there are better, my question is why.

you are not alone in your thinking Dan ... I am in a similar situation, however, I have reached my vape pinnacle at only 7.5 watts.

I do not see a need for a 30w, 50w or 100+w mod ... all my devices are the same with the same Tootle Puff toppers on them.

The difference for me though ... I've been vaping these devices for over a year and already know I am never going to look for something better ... call me that uber content happy Tootle Puffer for life :vapor:

you will know you've reached the end of your search for the perfect vape, when you vape the same setup every day for a year and still love it the same as when you first tried it.

cheers

SX Lemo.jpg SX Mini.jpg leom cloud.jpg This was in the Mail box today Lemo 2 and SX MINI M I now have a Top fill RTA that is awesome flavor and chucks clouds on a very well built mod. I will put a Titanium wire build in it
In short order and have temp protection.

AAAANNNND a buddy sent me a Billow with some awesome DIY Vanilla custard I have several off the shelf Sub tanks I use for work and play but they dont hold a candle to a finely tuned RTA

Most of the stuff we have is way way beyond necessary but so isnt most of the stuff we buy in our day to day lives weather it be shoes, electronics, audio, so on and so forth to some its a hobby as well as a way to not smoke

One could ask "why would you vape in anything lower than 20 watts" and he would be as right and wrong as you are. If you tried both low and high watts vaping and found your preference to be at low ones, that's very good. Keep in mind that there is a big difference when you go 20+ watts in flavour. It's not a mental thing. I'm not saying it's better for all,it's a matter of preference.

Is a Lamborghini Veneno a better car than a Honda Odyssey? Most motorheads would take the Lambo. But if you need a vehicle to daily drive, haul kids, groceries, in the snow and over potholes...the Honda might be the way to go. Most normal people would appreciate the smooth ride, gas economy, and easy maintenance of the Honda, and see no reason to need anything more.

I have a ipv and a few others but there is no guarantee it going to last more than 6 months either.
Agreed, howerver you can still pick up a mod with a swappable battery for not too much more than an iStick. I can understand if you are on a tight budget, the iStick is a great an all in one option, but if you have the cash to drop why not?

I've been vaping for 1.5 years and my journey has been an expensive trip. I have bought and sold a lot of stuff including two Reos, several Super T mechanical mods, a House of Hybrids ZNA30, a Yhi SXMini, several MVP2's and much more, including IBTanked carto tanks, Kanger Protanks, and at least three Kayfun clones.

I have come to the conclusion that I prefer regulated boxes with subohm tanks (Kanger Subtanks) and eLeaf Lemos. My current travelers are eLeaf Isticks with Kanger Subtank Mini's and I rarely go over 15 watts. So I suppose I am in complete agreement, and could have saved a LOT of cash if this stuff had been available just a year ago.

Ive been vaping less than a year after smoking for 25, started out with a itaste VV V3 with evods and quickly moved to a Sigelei 20w then to a Provari V2 with Kayfuns and now isticks with Kayfun V4 clones and Kanger subtanks. I have a Vaporshark on the way to try temp control but I have already found my happy spot with vaping. I also have several drippers that I just cant seem to get right build-wise enough to enjoy(too hot).

As others have said what works for me is pretty much guaranteed not to work for somebody else but thats what I love about vaping, there is something out there everybody you just got to try a few different things. It could always be worse and I could still be smoking at $4 a pack!

I remember buying a vamo and a Vivi Nova a couple years ago. I remember vividly telling the wife "I know its too much, but I want to buy what I need and be done with it. "

    That was probably 15k ago........:thumb:

Its nearly always suggested that if your happy then your set-up is good.
Some people just like buying vaping gear.

Who are you calling some people??? ;)

I just looked at my USPS tracking tool and realized I have seven mods en route at the moment. Granted, one is coming back from repair and two are being provided for reviews but it's a lot of fun seeing all those tracking numbers.

I've been vaping like 5 years, and for the first 3 years I was content with 2 small tube mods and dripping into disposable 1.8ohm atties, didn't even look at anything else..... then I started looking and trying new things....

Best thing I can say here is, ignorance is bliss... if you don't go trying better setups you won't know what you're missing. If your happy then your good. I guarentee that if we hung out for a bit and you got to see and try some of the spectacular vapes then you would not wind up going back to what you're using, you'd then know, sometimes you're better of not even knowing, its only when you're not happy that you have to go looking :)

I'm not man lol. My istick 50w arrived today, I got it really cheap as a backup. If my mvp3.0 were to crap out I don't want to have to rush to the store and pay full price for a replacement. I'll be using both. Sometimes you can't choose, you gotta just give a little love to 2. I don't want my Mvp getting jealous and all depressed. Anyway you're right, I am completely content. The only thing that would be cool I guess if they're like 10,000 mah one day. But even that is unnecessary. I chain vape subtanks and still get 2 days before my battery indicator is half. Then my ocd kicks in and I charge it anyway. Like I said I'm just curious. Like what makes a $100 box mod any better than these little guys? And why on earth does anyone need 100 watts? Or even 50? Or hell 30? I smoked a pack a day at least for like 12 years, my lungs can handle quite a bit, but like I said i.max out at like 16-17 watts. In fact if I try to hit it at like 25 it just burns it up.
I vape my tank at 60 watts, my mutation x from 70 to 90 watts. So yeah i use way more than 30 or ever 50 watts
