True. Nobody really needs 10-20 devices, but vaping for many is a hobby. Hobbies sometimes imply an interest that leads one to acquire multiple items that all have the same purpose essentially, but with differences in design and aesthetics. It's like a kid who collects miniature model cars. Acquiring one leads to two then before he knows it, he has 20. The only real difference about vapers is that most of us actually use our devices.

I am sitting here looking at 8 ego style devices. All loaded up and ready to vape. I love a variety of flavors and juice delivery devices so have all of them within arms reach and ready to go at a moments notice. I've always though variety in all things is the spice of life.

I have stepped down from another very expensive hobby, collecting Chrysler Sebring Convertibles. Vaping is much more manageable, and no need to build onto the garage!

For myself the small "collection" I use allows me to customise vaping to fit my needs. When i feel like having a more cig-like experience it's a P-10. When I'm out for the day the larger P-18 fits the battery needs. In between these two extremes I use an Icon w/14500 battery.

At first I thought I just hadn't tried enough things out....I'm beginning to suspect there's a white whale somewhere who has possession of the perfect setup, and is keeping it from me...

If it is not mods, we collect tanks. At least I do. They are a bit cheaper than mods.

For me getting new gear is part of the reason why ecigs helped me quit. Trying out new tanks, new batts, fiddling with things to get that perfect vape.... well it keeps me focused. Plus spending money regularly (even just 20 bucks here and there) on vape gear makes me feel like I would be throwing $$$ down the drain if I went back to analogs.

I dont have the biggest collection but it works for me.

Because it's much cheaper than my other hobby, watches. Instead of buying another Planet Ocean, I buy a couple of tanks.
