If it's the stuff I've seen, it would be like using rope. Let us know how it works.

yeah it totally looked like rope lol

so my mini Vivi is doing well right now with 4 bamboo threads and a baton over wick. its 2.5 ohms and I can't seem to push past 4.8 volts without flirting with scorched hits. I need a hair more wattage. I think I'm going to have to bore open the wick slots some, seems to be a common theme for me lol. Must be my damn power lungs. Never underestimate a jazz trombonist.

unfortunately I don't have my tools here with me in Cali. Maybe I'll get a screw and push it through with my teeth lol

Hello ...... I didnt read whole Thread but anyway can someone tell me if I can use Zippo wick ? it looks quite the same as wick intended for vaping :)

Zippo wicks have a metal wire in them that will short the coil, bought four to try and they are useless, pain to try and remove the wire in the weave.

I'm really liking the SmokTech rebuildable with a rolled cotton wick. Set one up with only one end going into the tank this morning. This setup is wicking so well that I've probably had to blow a mL of juice out of the air tube today. Going to have to go back to both ends of the wick going into the tank.

I've gone through about 20mL the past two days. I used to wonder how people could vape more than 4 or 5 mL in a day, now I know. :D

Cotton is relatively safe, no harmful fumes or harmful micro fragments, it is used as the diaper in most carts. It does burn easily if not wet and burning or charring gives off bad flavor.
i was following another thread on here about cotton wicks and the fumes from burning cotton are deadly.

What about the the fumes from the burning of fiberglass? Not to start a war but IMO it seems like cotton is a safer bet. I could be wrong but after reading this whole thread it seems to me cotton is the way to go. That being said there have been no double blind official studies published so I think we all have to pick what we think is the safest way to vape for each if us. For me its cotton.

Thanks,

Chris
