one more wrap should bring it up closer to 2.4. depends on the gauge of the wire and diameter of the wraps.
Oh ok thank you! I can already taste the difference. Gonna redo all my silica wicks now. Very exciting.

I am wondering why the manufactures aren't moving to cotton wicks over silica, due to some of the health concerns of silica? I would really like to see that option, and be able to get pre-built cotton wick and coil replacements. I have purchased two rba's, but won't touch em till I get around to changing out the silica to cotton, or SS.
I brought up cotton 'back in the day' in the gotvapes forums and the response was basically "if it burns, we could never use that."
I get it, if you're new to it, poof, burnt wick. But then again silica...hmm. And then again if you're worried about newbs maybe you shouldn't hype up and sell crap that doesn't work well and then say "well I'm not having problems" when they come crying to you... lol

+1 for touching on the dizzying prospect of vetting the info/advice available in forums like this by newbs (of which I was, and maybe still am 16 months ago). Trying to filter actual, good, solid, proven methodology out of the endless hyperbole and mantra that is parroted by peeps with 5000+ posts of "forum cred" is a daunting task to say the least...a task I still regularly fail at, cough, Reomizer, cough
In this RBA "new world order" I really believe the "newbs" have the advantage. They aren't constrained by the "if it burns, we could never use that." type statements...newbs can still sit back in their chair, tent their fingers in thought and say, "ok, fine...but why?"...and I'm so glad they do, it keeps things fresh, progressive and stimulating. I've said it before and I'll say it again, my best ideas come from watching people that have no idea what they're doing...![]()
With me around, I'm surprised you haven't figured out cold fusion!I've said it before and I'll say it again, my best ideas come from watching people that have no idea what they're doing...![]()

Here I thought you liked me! That must be me. I never knew they existed. Hell I didn't even think of the emt trick until we were almost done. :>)this guy had no idea how "pros" tackle this kind of job, or that split nuts even existed.
I regularly have an argument with my woman, bleeding heart liberal, about education. This libertarian subscribes to quigs school anydayAnd I'm someone who's spent the majority of his life in higher education of some form. Anything I've actually learned, came from experience, inspiration, anxiety, force, and...magic

...yes, can't forget magic...Now I am sold on hemp, not all hemp just that 20lb 1mm natural that luck and magic brought me.

So I've got this juice, Lorann Mango diy 10mg, 70/30, I just rediscovered it about a week ago, it was one of my goto flav's back in my DD'ing into a dewicked/debridged cisco 510 days...the taste is awesome (to me) but I think I may have found one of those flavours that just doesn't seem to play well with anything. It tastes pretty good for a couple days on a silica'd ERA or in my Line on mesh but then the taste goes down hill quickly (I actually caught myself dry burning the other night) and forget running it on cotton or bamboo beyond a couple hours...I think it may be one of those flav's that the re-burn of it's own deposits is just nasty (almost a fish flavour)...
The point I'm trying to make is...if I was new to vaping, found this thread, and just so happened to be vaping one of these pretentious, up-tight, hot house flower juices I may be inclined to think you're all on crack...dismiss this whole organic thing and move on...just goes to show ya, there is no silver bullet
I grow Ylang Ylang on my farm, when we were growing up we just crushed the yellow flowers in our hand and rubbed instant cologne on our face. Have a couple of trees in the yard that give a great scent in the evenings. Oscar de la Renta bottles it for many dollar an oz. Have to seep some flowers and try it.Lorann? Bro you're back in 2009Speaking of flower juices, I just discovered FA Ylang Ylang, its amazing. It literally tastes and smells like a flower, I have no idea why I enjoy it so much, I could see vapers being repulsed by it, but its rocking lol. Works with bamboo too.
