Edit: im thinking i shoulda posted this here-->E-Cigarette Accessories Discussion

I bought some Taska ceramic cutters, they are made for cutting fishing line and plastic etc, one of the blades has a serrated edge so now when I cut my wick tails the wick doesn't get pulled about, the joy!:D Just thought I'd share and here's a pic

Cool...I love ceramic blades.
I use some really short Fiskars fabric shears. They're spring loaded and the blades are only 2-3" long with a razor edge. You can cut a whole piece of cotton bacon without binding.
Plus you can get them for $10 at Wal-Mart.
They look like they were made for this.

I think you posted in the right place as this directly relates to wick...I wouldn't have seen your post any where else.

The noise they make when you open and close them

I wanted a small set so as they fit in my tackle box along with my other rebuilding gear easy, i think if you were to cut a ... pad along the length you'd probably need about four cuts but it's not a prob for me cus i tend to rip the amount of cotton i need from the side of the pad and then just use the cutters for snipping the wick tails to length, what i am impressed about with these ceramic cutters is that i don't get any loose ends anymore :thumb:
The blades on mine are 1"1/4 long, total length is 4"3/4, width of the handles are just under 2"1/2.
I payed £10.

Thanks for reassuring me that i posted in the right place whiteowl84. :)
