What is everyone's thoughts on smoketech coming out with a zmax v2? I would hope that they could put out a v2 that has fixed the pwm voltage matching the actual voltage reading on the devices they are putting out. I want one of the zmax's but I will wait if they might put out a v2. Is the vw closer to actual then the vv on the zmax?

In the last five days, I have read, seen, thought about, re-read, re-seen, and re-thought about everything that I could find online about the Zmax and I kid you not!

After much debate and thought, I finally settled on the stainless Zmax from madvapes last night Smoktech Zmax Variable Volt APV, and I am pretty positive I will be very happy with it. The Z is still only a couple of months old so nothing in my researching ever hinted at a Z2, but like everything else it is pretty much a guarantee there will be. The pwm and inaccurate voltage readings on the Z is on every reviewers list of cons, but just like they all say, it takes hardly any time to get use to it. And with VW and a little initial fine tuning, you won't need to fiddle around raising and lowering your voltage anyways because the Z will do it automatically. As for me, I could care less what number's something wants to show as long as the performance and battery life is excellent, and the Z seems to give both. :vapor:

Do I smell a fanboy.

I've owned the Vmax and the Zmax until recently - if you're referring to the Provari, I guess I would be a fanboy if I was to be honest with you. I know it's not something most people own up to but I can find no fault with it (even the price) it's been the perfect PV for me.

Don't get me wrong, the Zmax is still a great mod.
If they sort out the PWM and calibrate it properly, I'll be a Zmax fanboy.

I was thinking about buying a provari but if they get things straight with the zmax then I would buy a zmax.

It's in the mail rite now on its way to me. If my wife only knew what I paid for it. She would still be talking about it years from now.

LOL. I'm on the notification list. Probably #1,999,999 on that list but I'm on it!
Meantime a shorty DID is keeping me quite satisfied!

I emailed clouds of vapor a couple of weeks ago asking when they would have another run of the Penelope's and they emailed me back saying 4 to 5 months. I bought one of the Chinese dids and I just can't get the ss wick right.

Dude! You gots a Penelope? I'm jealous. Someday I too will savor the sweetness...

Ok showing my ignorance here I've never heard of the Penelope? Everything I saw said the provari is the king. Please educate me in this cause I'm thinking about another APV. I got a vmax and really like it. As I sit at my desk and wait for the teachers instructions.

Thanks for the update. Hopefully I can get in on that run.
There's some great vids on youtube. rnmreviews posted it. Gives the basics on wick setup for gennies. I love my genuine DID but yeah at this point it seems to require periodic fiddling to work right.

The Penelope is a rebuildable atomizer (similar to the Odysseus), not a PV. It's the newest craze, fad, greatest thing since cheese, etc (i.e. it's out of stock everywhere). :p

there are some really good videos on YouTube of the GG Penelope. They are pretty hard to get. Clouds of vapor is out of stock so the only way u can get one is either the classified on here or know someone that wants to sell.

Think I smell one...

I do not own a Zmax, nor a Provari....I am a fan of Variable wattage, and have been for years now....current Zmax does not make the grade with me....who knows with version 2,3, or whatever...guess we will see...

Do I smell a fanboy.
