winter vaping

I live in midwest Wisconsin.Weve had our share of sub zero weather this winter. I always vape 100% VG, or as close as I can get. When I'm vaping inside, I have no issues. Its when I spend time outside, I'm always adjusting my variable voltage or blowing into my tank to get a good vape.

My next batch of juice I make I think I'm going to try 100% PG, and see if that makes a difference. And if that doesn't work, maybe add some everclear also.

Anyone else experiment or experienced with this problem?

try a 50/50 blend first and ajust from there.
i use 100 % pg for steath vaping as theres little or no noticable vapor on exhale indoors.
you might not like that.

Rather than switch from a juice I like I would find a way to keep my tank warm. Some type of tank cozy.

I've found that keeping my device inside my coat in the breast pocket kept it warm enough to flow pretty well. I use mostly 50/50 - 60/40 pg/vg.

I only drip in the winter. I work outside so I don't even bother with any tanks.

440BB I agree it does help keeping your device in a warmer place. I was wondering if anyone changed the VG to PG ratios because of outside temps and if it helped or not.

I live in MN and use some juice that is 70/30 and some that is 50/50. I have not had any problems with being outdoors when cold and vaping. I will caution about using metal drip tips though! My lip froze to my PT2 tip the other day while playing frisbee with my dog. Hurt like HELL!! lol......

I had troubles with my protanks in the cold. Keeping it warm helps. I always tried to get the coils to warm up nice before I started vaping on it like normal. I have been using my igo- w though lately an I haven't had many issues vaping outside with it. I use 50/50 blends and a few 20/80. I'd love to know if the ratios help though, so please update when you can!
