No one has mentioned safety particularly making sure he uses batteries that can handle sub-ohm vaping.

Don't go cheap when it comes to batteries. AW, LG, Samsung and Sony are the best. Use Steam Engine to work out how many amps your build will pull and make sure you are using batteries that can sustain it

Sleepers are a PITA! If you want to try one of his builds, I'd suggest the nano dragon coils. They work pretty good and aren't super difficult. His zipper cil vid is a good one too, but that's a seriously difficult, time consuming build. Looks cool, but not worth it imho.
Don't think I've watched the dragon coil yet. I'll have to check it out. Should hopefully have my first RDA in about a week or two so i wanna find out as much as I can before it even gets here.

Thank you for that. You really are the first person that's mentioned batt safety. I have done a lot of research on batteries, including reading @Baditude's battery basics for mods blog. I have 2 Sony VTC5 18650 2600mAh 30A batteries that I got with my KBox Nano from elementvape. Haven't used either of them yet because I'm saving them for when I get a MOD that uses 2 batteries. Although I could be wrong (really hope I'm not) I assume that they'll be safe enough as they came with my sub ohm KBox.

Yes. I think you said a 100W iStick? Just make sure both batteries have a good connection. That mod will run with only one battery.
I want an iStick because again, most of the reviews I've seen have all been good, but I ended up getting a Beast Box Style Mech MOD because I had seen a few good reviews, the price would "break my bank" and because I thought that the green LED in it was cool (greens my favorite color). Think I paid something like $22 from FT for it.

So I just watched a video from Rip Tripper (don't think I spelt his name right) about a Sleeper coil. It's like a dual coil setup using 1 single wire for both coils. Have any of y'all tried this?
I watched the video but never tried it.

when i 1st started building, i used the wire that came with the terrible tanks i was buying... so, i basically began my building journey on 30g wire, with tanks that were FAR from user-friendly, like the Aga-T for example (not the easiest tank to rebuild, i guess..) so, i learned with the cheap tanks and think wire, and then graduated to thicker wire gauges. I think everyone could learn from wrapping a 30g wire coil, lol. I learned a LOT from those days... Like, the thinner the wire, the LESS WRAPS needed... Well, the less wraps are needed to achieve a low resistance. Feel me? Hell, I was building 2 and 3 wrap coils that outvaped my 510 cartomizers! haha. THREE-WRAPS, I know! CRAZY! haha. You'll pick it up quickly, i'm sure... But, experiment with different gauges, u may find 1 u like better, for different reasons. (for example, if you are using cotton YARN, rather than cotton puffs, u may want your coil-tube to be JUST the right diameter/circumference, lol) (WOW, correctly spelling the word circumference CONTINUES to ELUDE ME! lol)

If that's the beast box I'm thinking of, it has a mosfet in it. It's meant to protect you from your mistakes, but I wouldn't trust it. Make sure you know your amp draw on your build, and make sure both batteries are getting a good connection. Keep it at or above half an ohm until you know what you are doing. And remember, that mod is a cheap, plastic device made in China for pennies. Don't do anything crazy on it. I have 2 iStick 100's, and honestly, you can get a much better mod for $10 more. I bought one to check it out and the craftsmanship isn't all that great. The internals seem to be decent, so I bought the 2nd one to tear apart and build a regulated box of my own with the circuit board.

I certainly have not; there's no particular advantage;
where it would be appropriate is if you have an rda with small holes and you are using a wire gauge where you can only fit one wire into the post hole and there is only 1 positive centerpost to work with.
