Telling people not to update is drama queening there is nothing dangerous or even difficult about ver 3 you just have to work a tiny bit harder to dial it in and it is a tiny bit of work and the upgrade works so what reason is there not to update to it??.
Because people updating are
not expecting problems, they're expecting
improvements. Not everyone follows forums or geeks out as much as some of us here do, and not everyone is willing to put up with "workarounds", and some don't even know what a TCR
is, they just use the preset SS mode and expect it to work. For those people, it's good advice to tell them something is not right with the update, and to hold up or roll back. It's also good information for those that have updated and then think they're having build problems when its the mod, like oh,
@tomzgreat , the OP of this thread.
@BoostAddict it's not a problem with 3.0 kicking you
out of TC, it's a problem with the mod thinking SS is vaping hotter than it really is, and throttling back power too early, in some cases almost as soon as you fire, resulting in a very weak vape, and it's more problematic with 316 and 317 that have lower TCR than 430 to start with.
