Thanks, I hope she isn't driving you too crazy :D

You do realize that you will have to use the colored Provaris once in awhile or they will feel abandoned and get sad. I am sure they will be naked for at least two weeks until you and Kevin finish up testing.

Well....it's already known in the house which is going to be glued to her hand. And let me tell you it's NOT any of the colored ones.

Hopefully in about 2 weeks or so. The design looks very similar to the Provari.
I do have some concerns with the Vmax
On skype LordDavon was not easily able to remove the board. On the Provari it slides right out.
The wires on the Vmax are very thin. The reason LordDavon had the cap on his off was because the stock wires broke and had to be replaced.
As far as I know spare parts are not available for the Vmax. If the Vmax breaks a new donor Vmax would be needed to repair it which is costly.

You're not inspiring much confidence here Lewis. :p You can do this. I have a Vmax just itching for wood. Hmm, that probably didn't sound right but you know what I mean. Anyway, I'm glad you're going to be practicing on LordDavon's this time.

I just call it how I see it good or bad and try to give everyone as much information as possible. :)
Thanks for the encouragement! I will do my best to turn the Vmax.
Does anyone know what material the tube of the Vmax is made out of?

XL3-20, XL3-21 and XL3-22 have been posted to the store. They are currently in the mail to Eric. Electronic Cigarette Wood Mods

I wonder how the brass would look in this style.

The downside of the brass is it starts to tarnish and requires maintenance.

The Provari is stainless steel, so get a gold plating kit off of eBay for around $250 and that would look super fab! Scott (igetcha69) gold plated his Provari in a video on there and and didn't look hard...I may have to try this at some point, just a proof of concept to how it would look. Of course I first need to come up with $$ for another Provari and a plating kit, so don't hold your breath on that one.. LOL :)

It may be possible to turn the Vmax like Kevin's Provari. I should have more info after I receive LordDavon's in the mail.

With both styles the paint gets taken off, either for buffing or gluing. The problem with the paint is sanding/buffing marks are visible and almost unavoidable. My Lavatube has these marks and I was trying to keep the paint looking good. For the wood it is also not possible to remove CA from the paint.

Lewis, this is ridiculous. I don't know how you do it, but you continue to impress me with your skills. let me tell you guys, the pictures he posted are a fraud to how fn awesomely, incredibly, freaking nice this thing looks. I mean honestly, I didn't think anything could be better than the wood mods but I'm sorry, this is just that much better Imo. I feel like one of those ppl who hit the lottery! I do appreciate the craftsmanship and time put into this Lewis. I am going to a local vape stop this weekend and have already posted on FB to my group. We also have a vape meet next weekend and I may even go to one I don't know about just so ppl can see this bc like I said the pictures are nothing until you see it. The design is sexy (figure 8) and just as comfortable. it does add a few grams to the weight but you don't know it as it lays (with the design which Lewis came up with this time) in the palm of your hand like a glove. I will admit that I have big chunky hands so that may add to the comfort, but my wife loves it. The color pattern is awesome but that was chosen as it reminds me of earth and considering the difference between smoking and the vapor the attachments provide I thought it was fitting. The button feels more responsive and less "jiggly" provari owners just wiggle your button without depressing it. That slack has been taken up.

I will be using this as my main and will report back any issues accordingly, but first impressions... DAYAM!
