I'm thinking this would look pretty nice on a black bolt.
Eric said the bottom of the bolt does not come off. It the bottom of the battery tube does not come off I can't turn them.
I got the battery tube on your custom order finished. I will be turning the cone and possibly the tip later tonight.

I guess it is the polycarbonate tanks that were having the cracking problem. I'm sure these must be polypropylene which is better and shouldn't be a problem.
Does this mean that the smoketech DCT doesn't crack?

Off to play monopoly with kids :D

I meant on the Bolt itself anyway. Was just kinda looking around at smallish PV's that the tank would fit flush with. It wouldn't look right on any of the PV's that I have here.

Sweet! I got in her multicolored CE4's yesterday, and she was like a kid in a candy shop. The woman likes pretty vape stuff. Can't wait to see her face when she see's this.

I think those cones give the smaller units a flush look. I am not sure if they work on all of them, but Eric would know. In the near future I will be making small wood cones for them. Then on the custom order tanks people can add a cone and a tip.

i do like the XL3 Tasmanian Sassafras Burl but not the metal bits, i think the metal makes it look outa place, but the metal on the wood tank looks good tho as its not in ya face and doesnt look outa place, a gold colour metal might look better tho, but you should think about putting a wooden style drip tip with the wooden tank instead of plastic or both, or incase the wood round the transparent driptip like a glove, you should make a skirt with a wooden button on to, which u can replace with diffrent styles, or replace wen they wear out, yad give people choice with the wooden skirts :)

Thanks for the feedback! :)

Lewis does do a drip tip and can match it to the tank if desired.

Right now, the wood is a decorative/display type item, we haven't fully worked out anything beyond this, but Lewis is full of ideas, he's the one who comes up with this stuff. I am sure he's thinking all kinds of things right at this moment :)

For the Gold idea.. maybe, but it's cost prohibitive to have them plate caps for such a one off product, if it takes off sure, I can offer them but as it stands I have seen no golden colors out of China for the end caps. The rest of your ideas, I leave that to Lewis as I wouldn't know where to begin.

Personally I think the chrome end caps make it even better than if it was all wood, but this is completely subjective stuff.

The only gold metal that I know of is on the riva. As Eric said we do not have much control over the metal colors at least for a price that people would be willing to pay for.

I do make drip tips. These do not go over a existing tip they actually now go over a stainless tube thanks to Big Screen D. I don't currently make drip tips separately as the cost is high. If someone really wants one I am happy to take custom orders on them.

I will be making sets with the tanks.

I want to give people options and still have everything match. Some people might want to just get the tank and a stainless tip to match and save the cost of the wood tip. Someone with a bolt won't want a cone but may want a tip.

I do not know what a skirt is. As for buttons, I assume you mean the button on the switch. I do not know for sure that I could make them due to the tolerances with the electronic parts. Also I do not know that someone would want to pay $20 - $30 for a button. Also putting the CA finish on a button would be very time consuming as I could not finish both sides on the lathe.

lol I'm coveting the ones with the metal caps. I really think that'll look super sharp, and lend a much higher end look, for many of us who already have the a metal body pv. I'm dying for one for my stainless body.

And Eric... Is there maybe a darker black type delrin option in caps for people who are wanting a different look? That would make it look even sharper on one of those bolts. I think it would be fabulous if you could have choice of caps. lol I'm not 100% sure, but I'm thinking smoktech makes a tank with smoke colored glass and darker caps. That might work, assuming my memory isnt faulty. lol

You are right. I am getting some of the parts, maybe I can put together some shots once I get them and people can mix and match :)

It's Lewis first tank, that belongs to me (evil grin)
He said it was defective.. I LAUGHED hard as it is awesome. :)
Well it is defective
It has little tiny chips in the middle where the wood meets the plastic that you can only see when you hold it in the light.
Its not that I have OCD, well never diagnosed :D
I just want customers to get a product that is as perfect as I can make it.

THAT was a seriously cool defect to end up with! rofl Love the shape on that wild thing! You need a short cone/thread cover on there, to really make it look flush and fabulous, though. Or wait a sec.. hows about that thing you showed me, which is just a little 'shelf' of metal for the tank to sit on? lol

Also, just occurred to me, a truckload of people have those original black LTs, so the dark would look better, and really add an amazing flare, to those as well.

And Eric... Have any intention in getting the bolt in chrome, with the extender? now that would look KILLER with the tanks, as is. lol

My Indulgence arrived yesterday and I am in <3 with it. I know I probably drove Eric and Lewis to distraction with all of my questions prior to setting the process in motion, but they both were true gentlemen and professionals and answered every possible query I threw at them.

If you are considering one of these beautiful works of art for yourself, don't hesitate to pull the trigger. You will not be disappointed in any of these pieces.
