Worst thing your kids have done-

We have a thread for the worst accidents-

But Dark (I think it was dark) wrote something in the questions game thread that made me laugh- and I just have to know- what is the stupidest things your kids (OR you as a kid) did- something totaly off the wall, not like "got into drugs and turned bad, held up a 7-11 and I had to sell my house and live in a cardboard box now to get a lawyer to get them off" bad- but more like 'might need to wear a helmet and a sign that says 'danger to self due to HIA syndrome' bad...

I'll admit first-

My kids- in their INFINATE widsom- that only a 3rd and 4th grader have of worldly things like war and mass destruction - were discussing joining the army with other kids on the hour and a half long ride home on the bus one day- ANd the self proclaimed expert of the family, told everyone that in the army you have to make your own bombs- but it was easy- all you needed was a battery, some tape, a canister and a shoe string.
SO- the next day, one of the kids brought all the 'componants' to school, so Brett could make him a bomb-

Of course, someone ratted them out- SO hubby and I were called TO the school and were met with 2 principals, (both women), the superentendant who was leaving, his replacement, a Sgt, Lt, and the Chief of Police.

Needless to say, at first we were appalled, and thought we had 2 timothy McVey's on our hands- THEN, we thought about it- and realized- they aint that smart- So basicly, my kids got a 2 week vacation, right before Christmas break to have fun and enjoy life.

Even one of the cops took us to the side and said he has NEVER seen such a monumental waste of time- He almost had to leave during the initial investigation due to laughter- of course, he raised 3 boys.

Ive got stories and stories about myself as a kid and my little girl, but just one of mine would be on vacation a long time ago at the beach, I ran around collecting hermit crabs in a bucket. I had about 30 big ones before I called it quits. My mom said to throw em back, so I said I did and hit the bucket on the boat, snuck it up to the room. Well folks, 30 crabs in a tiny little bit of water tend to die really quick, so by morning they were all rotting, I dont think my mom ever got that smell outta her sheets (I hid them under Her bed) Lol

Twiztid- ACK! ROFLMAO! there is NO telling how many frogs, snakes and lizards I have killed in the washing machine and dryer- or FOUND in the bathtub after my kids came in and took a bath-- and the other day we were cleaning out bedrooms and found everything from deer skulls, and hog skulls, to an entire .... skeleton, to turtle shells, to armidillo tails and shells, to antler sheds in their rooms-

In my house I have a few very large empty wasp nests- as decoration, and even a large hornets nest- (its very rustic/country decorated) WELL, one day my kids found a VERY large wasp nest- and brought it in to suprise me with for mothers day- It still had wasps IN it- and Mothers day was a few weeks off......

Pam, I drive a white 4 door dually- And always have a chain in the back because we live in the country- plus its 4 wheel drive- anyway- my kids were about 6 and 7, and were washing my truck and cleaning it out- I told them to get all the junk out of the truck- (it was BRAND NEW) and to leave the chain, jumper cables and spare tire-
One kid listened, the other didnt. SO they faught over the chain- OVER the side of my truck- a HUGE rusty logging chain- on my WHITE dual fender- those scratches NEVER have came out- nor has the rust that stained them.....

My wonderful children.I had wanted an old Jeep for years and Hubs finally found a used Jeep cherokee chief that we could afford,I was so happy with it.Had lots of room for kids and dogs.Perfect!Well one Christmas day,not a year later Hubs was putting the boat in the water on the ramp and left my little ones in the car.I dont know what happened but he launched the boat, the Jeep and the kids.Everything went into the water, lol. The kids were screaming and Hubs was chasing his golf stuff cuz it blew out the back window and his golf bag was floating away.Thank God he was with 2 other people who saved the kids, lol.UNREAL!!I think they released the emergency brake while jumping back and forth over the seats.

LOL! Sounds like a true golfer at heart...the kids can swim, the boat floats and the jeep is sunk....SO SAVE THE GOLF BAG! I used to golf, but once I caught myself looking at the curve of a new driver instead of the curves of the gorgous ladies around me, I dropped the habit and ran screaming lol! :)

Wow I don't know where to start haha...it started when I was about 8 months old....my mom put me in a walker(I was already walking) to keep me from getting into things I pushed my walker over to a ground furneness and guess what....fried my feet, after the ER visit they told my mom I would never walk again due to nerve damage in my wee lil feet. (I started walking again within the week haha). Next was about 10months later, at the dr office for a check up I took off running around the office, then bam!!!! Hit my head on the corner of the wall and split it wide open....should be ok right I'm at the drs....nope lol they made my mom take to a hospital about 45mibs away due to liability. Now I gave my dear mom a break from any major accidents for awhile till I hit about 5, once again I decided to be running in the house, took a sharp corner, slipped slammed into the edge of a coffee table....split my head open in a new spot;-(. Had a few minor things till I about 7 then I slammed my fingers in-between two 45pound weights in one of those old house all-in-one gyms, not only did I breake all the bones in my right hand I literally split my middle and ring finger in half. At around 8 I thought I'd take my lil girly crush fishing down by the river......she went to cast and got a barbed hook stuck right in the middle of my lower lip...all the way threw. Around 9 I told my mom I was going to go play outside, BFD right well I did but thought I could take my buddy and go rafting down said river, long story short, split my head open again and broke 3 ribs haha. At 10 I was at my dads house and they were painting my step sisters room, there was a mirror out in the hallway, I wanted to help so they sent me to go get some water for them, I took of running(running apparently isn't good for me) caught the edge of the mirror with my foot sliced it open took a chunk of meet out and slice threw the tendents, after a horrible ER visit with a new dr there was a wicked storm outside and one of those golfball sized hail hit my freshly stitched foot and ripped it right back open, I begged for a different dr lol. After another short break I became a huge fan of motorcycles...so I got a Dirtbike, thought I was super good well I was actually!-) took my friend for a ride he didn't have a clue what he was doing and made me crash after I took a huge jump, landed on my side sliced my leg, ribs and arm open!!! Yet again fun ER visit!-) about 6 months after that my step brother and I were shooting off those awesome rockets with parachute things, well we had recently fix his because one of the find broke. After he shot it off I started running because I was sure I could catch it before it hit the ground and man was I close but I ran off a cliff before I could get to it, landed face first(maybe head first) got knocked out, split my head open again, bruised up my face and broke most the bones in my left hand. I'm sure your thinking I must have been a devil child but no I was just an active child and I bet you thing this bad kid thing has to be over by now nope haha! With out being as detailed I ended splitting my head open one last time broke my wrist a few times, more hand bones got hit by a car on my bike, broke my brothers ribs, got shot by accident from my hunting buddy and a few other lil things all before I was 16 then I was pretty much done, so if u think your kids are bad just be happy their not me!!!! Thanks for reading my book lol have a great day!-)

my best friends daughter, Cait, when she was about 6 ..found a little toad and was playing with it when her mom called her in...well...long story short my friend called me to come over and smell her room....foul smell...but ...nothing..couple days later she opened her jewelry box to get something ...and there tucked away in a little drawer..was a crunchy, stinky, stiff toad....Cait said she put it to bed....:D...

my son, Joey, when he was about 7....very active child was sitting in a tree...my dtr and I on the porch swing....he kept yelling and hollering that he was falling out of the tree....scaring me to death...well, he did it one to many times....the last time he lost his balance and fell, landing on a chain link fence....off to the emergency room we go...nothing serious ..just cuts, bruises, and scrapes...but he never cried wolf anymore....:)

OMG!!! how awful!!

Fortunately, all people and pets got out alive. We lost everything, but had insurance so the house got rebuilt and we were put up in a condo (too small, but with no possessions, it was manageable) for 7 months while construction went on.

I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, but it was actually good for us as a family and as individuals. It was just stuff, losing it all taught us what was really valuable - family and health.

My daughter caused me to break her leg.. She jumped on my back while I was going up the stairs and I fell on her.. fun times explaining that to the ER. She ended up getting a nice 4-inch scar from surgery and still has a screw in that we need to have removed. My son did the rock around the car thing.. He was actually proud of it... "look what I did mommy". My daughter has done the "look what I did mommy" a couple of times also.. once was 4 x 2 feet across and up the wall in nonwashable crayola and another was pretty color-topped straight pins all in the waterbed mattress. I almost burned the house down when I was young but all was saved. My dad always let my brother burn garbage (pre-recycling age).... I was just taking my turn. My son and daughter are now teenagers and my little one is 2 years old, so I get to start all over again... dreading those words "look what I did mommy" haha..

My son is actually a good kid. However when he was like 3 or 4 we traveled by car cross country every 13 weeks. Somewhere on I-40, he tossed a digital camera out the car window. I was mad, but I couldn't let him see me laughing.

Those are some of the realest, but most difficult times...........you wanna laugh so hard, but you can't let them see you, because you have to keep the "mad mom face".

I guess I'm a lucky mom? I can't think of anything too terrible. I came home once at about midnight (my mom was babysitting) to find my daughter, 3 years old, had found the scissors and given herself a haircut. She popped out from behind a box with a long clump of hair in her hand and said "look mommy!".

I am not even going to respond with the worst thing my kids ever did.............you might question my parenting skills

OH COME ON! :) I actually write a BLOG about what my kids do- and I am sure most of it would get me arrested... HEck, I drove off and LEFT my daughter at church the other night- ON purpose. LOL -- BUT, now when I say "Load up" Princess Whinesalot LOADS up....

Fortunately, all people and pets got out alive. We lost everything, but had insurance so the house got rebuilt and we were put up in a condo (too small, but with no possessions, it was manageable) for 7 months while construction went on.

We lost our house 6 years ago- faulty wires - no insurance (long story, but we were in that black mold controversy and couldnt GET insurance)- So I understand what you are saying- All kids and animals got out fine- but 5 people living in a 28ft travel trailer was interesting- LOL
