lol, how did you break your MTL?

I don't know. Happened about 14 months ago when I went sub-ohm. I can no longer two-stage inhale without consciously forcing myself. And it's unsatisfying as hell when I try. :(

I would even lung hit my K Pro tank and other EVOD, BVC, etc. toppers. Can't help it. :p

Ah gotcha. I thought you meant you had broken your MTL kit that is optional for the Bachelor Nano! lol

I tried hitting my Ego CC the other day, felt like someone had plugged up the airflow completely

I can still do MTL hits but it is getting more difficult now that you mention it. I guess I should keep practicing before it's too late :p

Jim.. Just get yourself some 26g SS wire. You'll hit your target resistance. I've been using only 26 & 28 gauge UD SS wire for my RTAs & RBAs. I like to build between 0.5-0.8 ohms and those gauges of wire get me there every time.

I have 26g (and 24)... I'd have been at or above 0.6 if I hadn't paralleled it
That's in the B Nano, which allows for more wraps, but still.

To go higher, I'll have to order some 27 or 28g. It's on the list. :)
But it's a juggling act getting higher res for lower power and juice consumption, while maintaining some degree of mass for heat flux and satisfying vapor production... which rules out the cool quad twisted 28 or 30g, but then the lower gauges need more power, but then...

Juggling act. :p

My only SS is 316 from Unkamen... I should look into the differences in res and heat flux for other grades.

HAVING LEAKING ISSUES
I have watched all the utube video's for guidance
I have tried many wicks
They seem to be leak proof for about 4 hours and then the leaks from the air holes keeps coming back.
What the heck is happening to them?
Are they shrinking?
They look in place
All O rings seem OK

Thanks in advance

What are the coils included with the Serpent Mini? They look to be twisted 26 gauge of some kind. Is it SS or nichrome?

I just twisted some 26ga nichrome, and I think it may be a while before I go back to round wire. It's a thick, tasty vape.

BOOM!

They're simple Twisted WoToFo Comp Coils.

I have a couple tubes of other styles and I think they're Kanthal, certainly not SS.

What build do you run ? Whats the id of your coil?

I'm thinking twisted is gonna be the way to go in this atty. Right now, I got plenty of 26ga and 24ga nichrome on hand (not a fan of kanthal), and have some 26ga ss316l coming.

Dual twisted 26ga coils on the Billow V3 and Griffins (0.22 ohms) are a powerhouse build, for me. The flavor and vapor production are freaking madhouse, as far as I'm concerned - a bit too much for ADV for me.

I hope I'll be able to throw in a single 26ga twisted coil @ 30-40w and get good results. I'd love to carry around a single 18650 mod, instead of a dual or triple.

Sure, I could run a single 18650 mod at 60-65w, if I don't mind carrying spare batts and working the crap out of them.

I'd rather find a single coil @ 30-40w that's satisfying for an ADV. I'll still keep my dual and triple 18650 mods for that high wattage, big chunky mass of metal w/ a buttload of surface area, pumping watts, tossing straight up lung rocket vape - but it won't be my out and about carry.

BOOM!

Here's the setup I've been running today - Joyetech Ego One VT + Serpent Mini. The tank doesn't sit flush and there is a tiny gap (The VT doesn't seem to like tanks with protruding 510 pins). Works well though. Its pocketable and could become my office setup.

The DT is something that I had ordered from FT and forgot about. Arrived today. Seems like a wide bore from the top (that's why I ordered) but the bottom hole on the DT is small. Luckily it seems to be the same diameter as the Serpent mini chimney.

No, I've actually had zero gurgles/light flooding so far.

I'm still hesitant when tightening that top-fill cap though. :p
Hmmm.. That's strange. It has happened tome every time I've refilled it. Next time I rewick I'll try a little more wick in the juice channels. Maybe that will help.

I really love this tank. I managed to close the deal with the guy I was talking to. I'll have 3 more Serpent Minis next week. I think I'll keep two and give one away to a friend.
