First impression:

I can't believe how tiny it is! The Bachelor Nano is huge compared to the SM.

I think I got it and the B Nano in the same Eciggity order and that was my first thought too.
So small for a tank. I have much larger "medium" size RDAs.

It was pretty easy to build on, much roomier than I expected after Jim's description.

Hey now, moi?

All of my other RTAs are post style except... the boxed and never used OG SubTank (V1?).
I only keep using that as a "maybe" yardstick because no one has corrected me. I'm still too lazy to have dug it out to do a real comparison. :p

The black finnish is totally rubbish, it is already starting to chip in some places.

Now this sucks, I think you're now #2 but others may have simply not mentioned it.
Mine is fine, though I won't be ordering a second in black. Only because I think it's a waste.
The proportions of this miniscule thing mean most of it is the glass... showing the silver bell.
I'd rather it was all silver.

edit: I haven't seen this mentioned before; but it is really light as well.

At most I mentioned it in passing that first day.
It's lived all this time on my Pico... quite a light pairing (not like the Noogie... but still). :D

That's some fancy quoting you've done there Jim ;)

I should've done a comparison shot with the Kanger rba when I had it apart to clean it, but I was too eager to build on it and try it to take a photo. It may not even be that much larger but it does feel a lot roomier to build on ime.

I'll take a pic next time I have it in parts, or when the second one comes in, because I think I need a silver one too now

I just trimmed down the wick leads a bit more and I'm in heaven now, very rich, sweet, wet vapor. I keep blowing in to it to check if it's leaking now but so far so good, even after the first refill.

The BN is still a bit richer but that one has an older worked in coil and wick and slightly more mass at the coil (similar twisted ti coil, but I used 28G on that one oppose to 29 for the one in the SM), they might be right on par when everything's equal.

The paint on the black one chips real easy, like it hasn't been cured properly. It could vary per batch of course. When I got it I took it apart and put the parts including the glass and o-rings in a glass cup with hot water and a little liquid dish-soap as I always do with new tanks and the first chips came from just slowly swirling it around in the that cup of hot soapy water. I have a bigger chip on the side of the top-cap now that I don't even know how it got there

I get your point about the silver part but I do like the black version for black mods personally, so a better finish would be nice for the future @wotofo :)

I do like the lack off weight. I am lazy enough to prefer larger tanks so I don't have to refill as often, but I don't and this is mostly because they make my mods tippy and I don't like placing them on their side. As long as it stays in one piece I'm quit happy with that too.

I was sporting my black SM on my old black istick 30w. Very light in the pocket. My black finish is great.

Interesting, it must be batch related then. It doesn't bother me enough to try to exchange it under warranty, but it is good to know for if I want another black one in the future.

LOL... when I was typing that reply, I reached over and grabbed an i30 to compare to the Pico.
A little lighter of course, but my normal "toss in the car and go to market" pair for months (It's still the take-along back-up) was an i30 with an original iSub, the "German PC" poly-carb tank.
A very light pair.

Ha. Just highlight the chunk you want, and click quote.
So simple... even a caveman Jim can do it. :p

That would be cool.
Mine's been buried in a box all year, and then some.
I bought it on a whim at some clearance, then got a second RBA because I was ordering the 3rd gen. PEEK insulators for the one it came with. But I never used it, just cleaned and stored.

I'm probably also in a minority of long-ish time sub-ohmers who've never used an ST Mini. :p

Oh hey, that's pretty cool. I've done quotes like that once or twice, but there was a lot of copying and pasting involved when I did, haha. Thanks for the tip!

Will do.

You're not missing much though imo. It's sturdy and reliable and consumes less juice, but it doesn't produce all that much flavor or vapor compared to the SM or BN. I have the Toptank mini myself but I assume they're all very similar in performance anyway, someone correct me if I'm wrong please.

Who knows what we may be reduced to in years to come... I bought 5 mechs a few hours ago.

Big sale, have to try them sometime... what the hell. :p

Yeah, I was gonna sell my Toptank but decided to keep it as a back-up after all.

I was looking in to a cheap tube-style mech myself as well, also just in case.

But I don't think I would ever use it. I mean, I don't even like wattage mode that's how used I am to TC.
And then I saw the Dani Extreme V2 Plus....

So little money, but so much want, lol

My SM is ok. Took it all a part, cleaned it, and let it dry all day yesterday. Lubed it all up and put it back together and all is well.

That is good to hear. I guess they are sturdier than they feel after all
24639996112_5365340198_o.gif

I left mine full overnight with the thinned out wick and it was still bone dry this morning thankfully.

All those leaking Bachelors have made me a little paranoid, lol

I'll use the SM exclusively for a day before I compare it to my BN again. If I still like it after that I'm ordering two more!

edit: is it me or is the hole for the 510 driptip a bit shallow on these?

My fav driptip won't go all the way in it seems.
