Slightly off topic, but I just discovered that Wotofo makes a Serpent clearomizer that takes Kanger Subtank Mini coils.

I never fell in love with the STM (Noisy bugger & I always hated not being able to completely vape a tank, being that the wick holes sit so high in it and it looks like the Serpent clearo allows the holes to sit lower in the tank), so I am picking up a black and a stainless steel to use with the Kanger coils and RBAs that are sitting here un-loved. ;)

It looks like they sit lower, but it's hard to be 100% sure looking at that photo. Worth trying, let us know in a few weeks .

Another month with the Serpent and it's now my goto all day tank.
Me to... I have 6 and keep 3 filled for swopping thru the day. Like to change up my vape and try new flavors as they come in. Great tanks for trying new juices. Easy to build and fill.

I have been twisting 3 kanthal A1 wires and then running flat pliers down the length twice, washing the wire then wrapping on a 2.5mm screwdriver barrel. I then run a magnet down the wire to pick up any filings still there. Comes out to .26ohm

Right now I'm enjoying twisted 26 gauge SS 316l 6/5 wraps around 3mm screwdriver comes in at .27 ohms. I really enjoyed 5/4 wraps of 24 guage nichrome80 too. On a mech it's a little warm for the first few hoots but I'm keen to know when it's time to change batteries.

The biggest problem I have with mine is not clipping the coil close enough to the post and not beieng able to get the barrel on and not shorting. or at least scraping it a long the way.
I got these cutters free with a solder station (FX-888D) and just thought they'd be cheap throw aways but they turned out to be one of the best I've ever used. They work great for cutting the excess wire on builds. I used to do the twist and pull method but now I just use these.

Have the same ones. They're great, well worth the $5 to work with.

Good flush cuts are needed. There's a few different manufactures of good ones out there. I think it was UD or Geekvapes that have some but I haven't purchased a set from them. Home Depot might have the electrical flush cuts for small wire. I would not go cheap though unless there a brand name that's well known for good cutters.Simply look for a nice fine edge where they close cleanly. It's worth getting good micro wire cutters and paying more(just my thoughts).
