I'm going to find out some things about people I know.
At what point does it get sent to the recipients? Doesn't the host site do that at some point? Thought I knew the answer at one point but there's been so many questions I'm all conffudled now.

Not sure exactly what I was expecting from this but am amazed how quickly it's growing. Kinda cool to just hit refresh and see the numbers constantly grow.

You and me both, it's growing quickly so I guess I need to think about what the next steps might be, though I think we have some time before we hit REALLY impressive numbers.
One of the other petition sites has built in goals that you have to meet before they do anything. This one I believe I can end, notify whenever. I have the option of letting "change" notify them or printing stuff out if we want to make some kind of media event out of it.
Of course, I don't think I'd be able to travel to Washington to do that, but maybe if it gets big enough someone who is used to doing things like that will want to help.

Whether it actually changes anything right now in DC, or not, it's a huge step on the ladder of motivation. Eventually the lawmakers will have to pay attention, because whether they like it, or not, we own this country.
