Stacking batteries would give you twice the voltage and half the current flow across the electronics in any circuit. More current produces more heat, and therefor more wear and tear. This is the reason power companies use high voltage lines for long distance electricity transfer. It cuts the current way down, which lowers heat and makes a much more efficient system. (less loss due to heat loss) Would cutting the current down across the circuit help prolong the life of the PV? Just thinking out loud and looking for other views.

Stacked batteries in a Vamo might well extend the life of the device while shortening YOURS!

It isnt recommended to stack batteries in any PV.

Might be worth it to read this thread here http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/announcements-news/269461-exploding-mods-update-february-2012-a.html
There have been no reports of exploding batteries in any mods that have circuitry protection, which is basically any VV or VV/VW device, like the Vamo. Hundreds of people (estimate only, based on the large number of users who stack batteries in the Vamo on this forum) around the world, stack batteries in their Vamos with zero safety issues.

Says right at the top of that article "*Metal tubemods with full electronic control are not implicated since none has ever experienced one of these events. Only mechanical and basic electrical metal tube devices that were used with two batteries have been involved."

Right in the Vamo manual it states you can run 2x18350s.
