One of the few things the man ever said that I totally disagree with. If we continue with our horrible 40% or less voting record, we only are getting what we ask for. Let's face it, if we don't vote, why would politicians have any allegiance to us? That being said, I have to say that anyone who is uneducated enough to vote single issue once again gets what they ask for.

The multi-party system would be optimal but the present two have pretty much ensured this is not a possibility. I have admittedly rejected a candidate previously because of one particular stance (I'm pro-choice -- what right do I or any other man to tell a woman what to do with their body? We don't want anyone screwing with our e-cigs!) and sometimes that means rejecting a whole slew of candidates........

I was raised Republican, fled that when they suddenly became the Fundamentalist Religion party, went to the Dems, fled that when they became... OK, when it became painfully obvious to me that they're totally spineless wimps who campaign on one thing and then do whatever the hell they feel like doing, and am now a disaffected "decline to state" voter. I vote for individual candidates who reflect my priorities. vaping is not one of my priorities. Keeping government out of my bedroom is. Keeping government out of my gun cabinet is. Working to ensure that the government does its job, provides me the information I need, then steps back and allows me to make my own adult decisions about my life is. Although any candidate who supported the idea that citizens are grownups who can make their own choices wouldn't be for banning vaping, so.....

there is no such thing as two parties anymore they are all one and the same progressive except their idea of progress is progressing away from the Constitution. This year for instance Romney is their fair haired boy and if anyone posed a threat to him not winning they would call in the attack dogs to take them out they want Romney against Obama because then it wouldn't matter who won both so-called parties would have someone they want in power just a different face on them

With the voting showing most would not change their party affiliation in order to block a candidate who is fighting to ban ecigs, I fear we better stockpile because ecigs will be difficult or impossible to purchase in the near future. I assume this poll means everyone from a city elected official to the White House and Congress.
