So for fun, my girlfriend and I went and bought a pack of cigarettes last night, and smoked one each, after not having one and only vaping for the past month and a half - and I can honestly say I DIDN'T enjoy it! It doesn't taste as good as a vape, it didn't affect me as much, it tasted nasty, and all the other things that go along with analogs. After buying my vape, from the moment I started vaping I didn't touch another cig, so it was nice after six or seven weeks now to go back and try it again.

I'm glad I quit!

Good for you! I guess that's one good reason for not going back to cigs. Once I vaped, the cigs never tasted good anymore.

I know the feeling I was out the other night with one of my friends who smokes. After a few drinks I bummed one from her. The Marlboro light tasted nothing like I remembered it; it tasted like I was licking an ashtray. I did however enjoy the lightheaded feeling I got from it. I can say that now being three months smoke free I will stay that way, the cigs just taste gross now.

He he ! ... It's just like they say : "Ex-smokers" make the very worst "anti-smokers" !

I too cannot believe I enjoyed the taste of those damned analogs for sooo many years ??? They really do taste damned nasty ! ... And boy do they ever stink ! ... I too have not been able to finish a single analog since. ~ It's just crazy ! How could we have been so damned blind ??? (LOL)

Hmm, been over a month on vaping only and still feel like having an analog. Have not tried one cause I am afraid I might like them and start going back to them...
Cannot stand the smell of ashtray on the table, but like the smell of the smoke when someone smokes close to me.
Still wondering if I should try an analog and maybe get convinced its really crap...

If it gets too bad, head over to the smokeless section of the forum. Around 20% of all vapers need more from tobacco than nicotine; and quite a few hit that wall after 4-6 weeks of vaping only, too.
But there are considerably better and safer supplements to vaping than analogs.

I just did it two days ago, and I was genuinely astonished to discover that I could not finish a single one of my once deeply beloved cigarettes. 8-o

And I’m talking about a 30 years, 3 pack-a-day love affair.

To be honest, this is part of the reason I tried. I figured, "I smoked 20 of these each day for 3 years, so if I do get addicted again, whatever." I couldn't even finish it. I enjoyed the FIRST hit, the taste of the tobacco, the feeling, but after about the second or third puff, I had a really nasty taste in my mouth, "like an ashtray" - as they say. I kept going, but put it out before I was done, brushed my teeth, twice, then listerined, then got my vape.

I HIGHLY recommend you go bum a smoke off someone, you will not go back...
