-I was looking on ebay for pure PG and came across this seller who had good reviews...

-I placed an order

- package tracking stops and stays in a place for a week (6 days 23 hours and counting)

Curious as to what might be happening I send the seller a message saying and I QUOTE:

"Where's my package? according to the tracking number you gave me, it's been in the same place for a week..."

It's been an entire week and the tracking has stopped at some place in Ohio.

Well to my surprise I receive an email from this person saying

"Um, I’m not a magical fairy who can see through the US postal system. Please don’t come at me with demands to just “know” things that are no more available to me than than they are to you. I process your order and ship your package. I do NOT work at the post office.

And to correct you, the package was sent out six days ago. It hasn’t even been in the system for a week.

International shipments are not tracked past US soil, so you will not see any updates. Our terms specifically state that (1) We will prove shipment but cannot track into your country (2) we will not even answer an international shipping inquiry until two weeks (14 calendar days) have passed, and (3) will furthermore not take action on a claim for non delivery until 30 days has passed. Your package is insured against loss or damage with just and reasonable claim terms, which require 30 days for postal delays, particularly due to customs clearance times.

We do not control our postal service, your customs agents, or your postal service and cannot answer your inquiry. I appreciate your understanding in those facts, and a little reasonableness and consideration in your communications."

This is a long read I know but this is a very immature response to a very legitimate question that I thought she would have insight on. I had no hostilities towards this person but wow...I have to say that I'm less than impressed with her "Blow up" to a three word question.

In my personal Opinion, I would NOT order from this person ever again and if I were YOU, I would only order from here if you would like to be spoken to in a condescending and rude tone, similar to how a catty NINE YEAR OLD would.

If you have any suggestions as to what my response should be, please do so :)

Well.......... I agree that the response is abrupt, even though their quoted int'l shipping explanation is probably in their TOU or somewhere else on their site. And from reading your short note to them, it 'could' be taking as abrasive.... But, there is really no reason to be snotty about it with you.

You should know though, that a USA order is typically a minimum of a week delivery (in my case normally 3), and while order tracking from the USA only shows tracking to the last stop before hitting customs on the USPS site, it is usually picked up and tracked on the Canada Post tracking site once customs passes it onto them (most times).

I don't think you'll have an issue, so I wouldn't get too worked up on it at this point and just keep tracking at Can Post from here on in.

Hope it comes soon for you.......

VapeOn,
Greg

Yep usually takes 2-3 weeks coming from Stateside and USPS tracking system is woefully lacking. I received my package after 2 weeks last Thurs. ago and tracking still has it as "Processed Through Sort Facility". I just pay the extra and order with my juice as it's not worth the hassle going to multiple vendors IMO.

Obviously you ordered PG on my advice. If you had PMed me, I could have told you that it took 22 days for my order to land at my door.
Sorry to hear that you received such a harsh reply from them. I am experienced with Ebay sales and know of the extensive shipping times through vendors. The way shipping runs through USPS is like watching paint dry. That's been my experience with buying off Ebay, whether it be a large item or small. Heck GH1 took around 3 weeks for my nic juice.
The poor mailmen/women must have identity problems because most of us have one eye on them and the other on the clock.
Just brush it off as poor courtesy by the emailer and who knows, maybe it's that time of...oh never mind, I think you get it.
Cheers

IMHO THE DEMANDING TONE OF YOUR E-MAIL EARNED YOU THE RESPONSE YOU RECEIVED.

I will agree he could have been more courteous but at the same time so could you. We need to remember that we never know the mood of the recipient when they receive our communiques.

BTW US shipment take 10-14 days, sometimes longer and if you can't chill between shipments, buy Canadian. :)

I think this is a perfect example of how text based communication can fail us . We hear the tone of voice we're intending as we write something and often forget that this doesn't come through to the reader :?:. Short of peppering things with smilies (which doesn't really fly in professional settings), it can be difficult to control for how things are read :matrix:. That said, I think it is as much the job of the reader to assume good intent  as it is the job of the author to try to clarify tone :censored:.

nb: This post has been peppered with random smilies for point making purposes :sneaky: and added entertainment value :pop:.

And, to CityLights for making a Monty Python reference, :spam:

Hi there, just read this. To be honest, I think after reading your email, my reaction might have been exactly the same as what you got.

Your email sounded very rude, condescending and confrontational. I'm not sure how you expected the recipient to respond but it's worth noting that you should treat others as you would like to be treated. Just sayin'...... :)
