wrinkles are 50% genetics, 50% diet, exercise and care. The second 50% can be taken care of. Hydration inside and out, hats, solar protection, no smoking, less nic... I no longer care. I do take care doing all the steps above, but I no longer watch. YES keep skin clean, apply antiwrinkle ONLY AT NIGHT (Retinol works as tiny lupes that increase the chance of skin damage), good hydration and protection (I use Neutrogena Ultra Light, has 30 SPF). But your attitude is what matters. I'm 50 and stopped worrying

Added: watch your skin all over carefully in a mirror and check with a dermatologyst ASAP if you see ANYTHING out of the ordinary...

Savoir-Faire is everywhere!
Honey, you and I are at the age where a lifetime of activity is beginning to really show. Add to that the dehydration that comes along with vaping and you've got a recipe for the roadmap of your life becoming clearer on your face.

Really, REALLY hydrate and research good facial moisturizers and also lip balms. Also, you might try different drip tips that don't cause your lips to have to pucker as much. Oh, and try pulling from the side of your mouth instead of the middle.

You're beautiful as you are and you do not appear to be one of those women who will have the lipstick leakage up above the lips or anything. It's the vertical lines that tend to be the most aging.

Really, though, it's just life and maturing in process and you're not the only one who looks into a mirror and wonders how that person got to looking so much older when you're still the same YOU you've always been on the inside.

Embrace it and tell others your fine lines are wisdom indicators...LOL

Ditto THAT! I found squamous cell skin cancer on the side and back of my neck, and the dermatologist found more...and I was 39 then! (What's wrong with this picture? Fair skinned Scandinavian born and raised in ARIZONA and outside 75% of my life) At 52, I still check on a regular basis. I used sunscreens from 20 years of age on, but the damage had been done by the time I was 10, constant burning and mom taking joy in peeling my skin, urgh!:glare:

One of the advantages I have is the olive toned Scicilian skin (third generation but it still shows). Sailed for years, and I always wore long sleeves, long pants and closed footwear. I was lucky, my skin is not so much cancer prone. But whenever a new mole shows up or changes color I do consult with the doctor... Better safe than sorry...

Body glitter, and lots of it.

I always make sure to play this song during application. It definitely helps.

I had wrinkles above my lips BEFORE I started vaping so I grew a mustache.:)

Men are so lucky that they can cheat. :D Plus I am convinced that men's lips don't wrinkle nearly as much ... look at your calves ladies, (which we all have to shave). You will never get wrinkles on your calves. :D Look at men's upper lips who are in their late 50s and 60s... George Clooney's for example... not a wrinkle in sight. Even someone like Steve Martin... he's nearly 70. No wrinkles on that top lip. Or the bottom. Pick any older anchor on TV or actor... even men who are completely unattractive won't have wrinkly lips. It's the exception to the rule. Or they have to be REALLY old, like way past being vain. Most ladies, OTOH, start seeing these betrayals as 50 creeps nearer, if not sooner. We're still in our prime for goddsakes! :D So it isn't all "sun and diet and smoking and pursing your lips," as men do all those things too.

To add insult to injury you men can take your shirts off on a hot day, pee standing up, and you don't have to get pregnant to have kids. :D Going bald is about the only horror you have to face. And some men look downright handsome bald. (Then again, some look like Dr. Phil.)

It's true, all true...plus you never hear guys standing in a tight little circle going, "OMG, check her out, she is so rugged, she's sooo hot! I'd hit that!"

Wrinkly on a guy (up to a point) is considered all the hotter...sigh.
