Sorry about thatI object to the term 'fear mongering'.
Sorry about thatI object to the term 'fear mongering'.
Sorry about thatI just use that term when people are saying that nic only or nic with wta juices are bad with out studies to back up their reasoning
I used that term in a question "Want to learn more about or if it is just fear mongering?" I did not mean to offend you. You and others on here have been really helpful thanks

Heya AaronY,Any good comparisons of the different WTA juices yet?
Hey cigarbabe,I have already posted on the differences between Aroma and Vapealicious' WTA's.
...Stoned is a better description of the effect.
Any good comparisons of the different WTA juices yet?
Although one could sort-of have a nicotine-free WTA, it would no longer be WTA !
Only a small fraction of the alkaloids in tobacco make it into the body when smoking; a lot is just combusted as it can't vaporise/escape from the matrix. The profile of alkaloids in smoke will be somewhat different from that of the tobacco itself (and also between different types of tobacco) as each alkaloid will have a somewhat different boiling point and strength of salt bond, particle size to escpe the matrix of the leaf, likelihod to ignite, etc.
A couple of years back I suggested that WTA might well have a profile that is more favored to (some of) the other alkaloids moreso than nicotine compared to that obtained from smoking (this isn't confirmed but feedback supports it). However, that is a good thing luckily as it becomes a 'super-vape' - for those that appreciate/need those other alkaloids, the effects would be better than those from smoking. And one can easily adjust what one can grossly call the stimulating / relaxing balance by mixing with nicotine-only e-liquid in whatever proportion(s) one prefers.
Hence just 1/4 WTA might work well if nicotine-only liquids had 'something missing' but not this was not such a strong feeling. One can also consider using a lighter WTA blend during the daytime, as MikenGA says above.

That one vapes less with WTA is down to two facets of the same biochemistry : it creates satiation (that is more 'balanced'), and that lasts longer. Some of the other alkaloids have a half-life of greaer duration in the body, and part of their effect is also to maintain the effects of the nicotine.
It will likely take some time to get a handle on how much WTA is needed in relation to nicotine etc. I get a bit confused though, but coming from a strictly laymen's point of view that's not surprising.
I'm not even sure how the vender who is mixing different strengths of WTA is doing it. I assumed that when you do a WTA extraction you get what you get. By that I mean you get a mix of nicotine and minor alkaloids in whatever ratio was in the tobacco. At this point I would guess I'm wrong in my assumption. By offering different strengths of the minor alkaloids I have to guess that the chemist is separating the nicotine from the minor alkaloids and working with it from there.
I bring this up because as a long time snus user I certainly do get the minor alkaloids, but I get it in the same ratio that is in the tobacco in relation to the nicotine. It is very likely not exactly the same as smoking cigarettes but overall its..... close enough. There is no high minor alkaloid snus.
Perhaps a chemist or one of the venders selling WTA could enlighten us on what is going on.

LOL Katya looking for more of a side by side comparison. New industry and stuff so I don't know if there is one yet.
If I had been told this when I first started vaping almost 10 months ago (and I totally quit analogs right from the start without any problems) I may have been interested. True, I bought Tobacco Absolute for my occasional DIY at one time based on the fact that it was extracted from the tobacco plant but I'm not even sure I still have it or maybe I gave it away, will have to check it... It didn't add a thing to my vaping experience. Nice liquids and nice devices have (according to my personal e-taste). I also have to agree it's a pretty bad idea for the community to get nearer to analogs when most people haven't got a clue as to what vaping is and the interests that may be probably dislike vaping a lot. So, all I can say right now is I don't need WTA. I don't think I ever needed it either and I used to smoke a pack and a half every day.
From my perspective, you've got it backwards. With WTA, I'm nearer to vaping 100% of the time, which means I'm further away from analogs....it's a pretty bad idea for the community to get nearer to analogs...
Surprisingly good!
