So I got my X2 passthrough today and put on my also recently acquired X2 clearo. Either I am imagining things or this was the magic combo for me. Clouds and I mean CLOUDS of vapor. Same with a carto on this thing. Am I imagining this or what? They are the same voltage, correct?

Outstanding flavor and power. I love my 78mm batts for sure, but wow and wow again for the X2 passthrough.

In my experience, the x2, especially the larger ones, start off at a little higher voltage (around 4.0-4.1v) and then drop to 3.7-3.8v

I'm not sure if you are using the manual x2 but the manuals give you more control and thus you usually get more vapor

Manual all the way for me. I love the manual batts.

So, with that being said, if I have mine always running in passthrough mode, I'm going to be running at a little higher voltage all the time. I know they are designed for this but, will this affect total life of the battery do you think?

That's a question for Imagine. I would think not since it's not draining but I don't know enough about that

actually the X2 does not work like a true passthrough ( a true passthrough has no real battery...the voltages just pass through) the X2 just charges while it is plugged in (and has to have a min charge to even work in passthrough mode) like using a cell phone while charging....so no this will not affect it.

That makes a lot of sense actually. Well, regardless, I'm pretty damn happy with the X2 batt I have!

I was so damn happy with my first X2 1300 I ordered 2 more. 1 manual and 2 automatics, the automatics I use to vape while riding my Motorcycle. The manual does give a little better hit but not by much, either one will knock your socks off.

I haven't tried the clearos yet. And yes, they really do give lots of vapor. I am taking shorter draws and still getting good vapor. I am waiting for the lanyards. Was thinking about taking to towork but decided my regular volts are for work. Would like to have a lanyard for at home so I know where it is and don't drop it somewhere... :glug:

How do you vape a 1300 while riding a bike? I can barely hold my 650 in my mouth. I tried the 1300 and cracked the clearo mouthpiece with my teeth trying to hold that sucker. The 900 gives me a weird looking face holding it.

So.............General questions and a possible suggestion on topic.

* Do I have to make sure my clearo stays "tip up" in my pocket when I take it with me?

* Do the X2's burn through cartos quicker?

* Do I have to use the cable that came with the X2 when charging or as a passthrough? I have other similar cables and dont want to carry a mini usb in my pocket all the time

* any chance of a rubber tip for the clearos (or a solution to the plastic one)?

*** any idea of when the CE3's are coming? (off topic but I wanted to try them)

Imagine, thank you.......hope it is a lot, looks like there will be some competition to get them before they are out again.

I bought the rubber tip for the cartos and I actually like it. I just didnt know if you could do a plastic base on the clearos with a rubber comfort tip. Just a thought, not a deal breaker

Oh I don't think so as they need a firm seal to prevent leaking ...

I've got kind of a followup question. I just got my X2 today and I'm lovin' it! Loads of vapor and yeah, there DOES seem to be more flavor from my e-juice. That's exactly what I wanted!

When not in use, is it safe to just lay the entire mechanism (battery with juice-filled clearo attached) on its side?
I don't have a good way to prop it up vertically at the moment. I've had it sitting here like this for about twenty minutes so far and no leaks. I'm hoping that's a good sign!

thanks for the help!

Made me one of these, Hangs around my neck and holds my X2 1300 and 2 extra Clearomizers or Cartomizers
