Xhaler arrived today!!! WOW!!!

Grabbed some blank KR carts and filled a few as soon as I walked in the door this evening. Chucked those batts right in the charger as well. Shipping was fast and had it in two days from ordering on Sunday evening, packing was just fine..

Wow!! This thing is a vapor Monster No joke man!! I really felt those vaporous monster hits, just can't get over it. I am used to using 3.7 small batteries with 24mg to 36mg prefilled carts so perhaps this is what 5v is all about.

My thoughts for two of the three HV nhaler juices..

Kent - Very nice for tobacco flavor lovers, kind of sweet at the tail end and Great Vapor. I used to smoke Marlboro Lights and this could easily replace them

555 - Great Vapor and a real nice sweet hazelnut flavor.

Super Menthol - Did not try yet but will post later on this week. Smells like an Arctic Breeze so I'm sure this one will give me a chill and clear out the sinuses!

Just wondering if 3.7 on this would produce the same vapor?

Its only been 2 hours or so but so far I'm lovin it!!

tedescr glad you got your Xhaler and loving it. Yeh it is something. when i got mine i wasnt crazy over it BUT then someone on the forum explained things to me about it and now i cant put it down. But i dont vape my greencig cartos with it but i can at 3.7v...
anyway what batteries do you have to use thie Xhaler? did ya get the long 3.7v ultrafires or the 3.0 volt Tenergys?
i vape at 3.7v and i got loads of vapor using a KR808 carto and a 510. THit is better for me on the KR808. i also sometimes vape at 5 volts but i dont care for it any higher than that.
Let us know if ya have any problems or want some info.

what color did ya get? mine is the chrome aluminum wraping but it looks like paint its so close but im going to take that off and do some paint work on it then give it a shot of clear coat. But i want to try it on something else first. Good luck with your new toy.

Glad you like it. I haven't tried 3.7 on it but i believe the KR8 battery from V4L are about 3.9 volts (static), at least mine are, I put a 510 atty on those and they are pretty good. My experience is the cartomizers are much better on the xhaler at 5.4 volts.

if your using (2) 3 volt batteris if ya unscrew the black rear cap a bit that is vaping at 5 volts. if its screwed in all the way that is vaping 6 volts. if your using the 3.7 shorties taht is vaping 7.4 volts. and if your using the long ultrafires 3.7 v that is obviously 3.7 volts. so ya have 4 settings you can vape at. Cos, you sure about this? I thought screwed in was 5 volts and loose is like 6 volts.

Just checked the xhaler manual and it says cap screwed in = 5 volts. Hope that solves any confusion.

The website says if the cap is screwed in with two 3.0 volts which is what I have then your running at 5v. I ended up with model #6, vapor.. I tried a V4L Cowboy menthol since I have a bunch or their Cartos hanging around and it was nice at 5v. Big difference in Vapor to me then the smaller batts and flavor was good. I would imagine at 5v your gonna burn quite a bit more juice though.. Guess we'll see

I like the cartos and have never used a three piece system although maybe give it a try down the road. I hear you have to drip quite often? Might not be for me.. Kind of busy and always running around.

Did anyone ever change the filler in the cartos, I thought there was mention of some sort of foam or empty tea bags.. Supposedly it was better then most of the current stuff in use?? No idea..

Wow, tastes like I need to drip some HV juice into my cart already

I tried dripping using xhaler and blew 3 attys, then tried kristins PTB mod and that worked but leaked some, now I use blue foam or elheim filler i got from petco and they both work great. I use the joye attys at 3.7 and drews 4.5 atty on my Xhaler. No problems at all now, after more practice i think i was flooding the attys in the beginning and making them work to hard so i may try the joye's in the Xhaler again.

I don't think you can change the filler in the cartos, just flush them with water and let them dry, they'll last a good long while.

yeh tedescr my info about cap being screwed in was incorrect so i deleted it. cfrazer mentioned it to me so sorry for the wrong info.
I dont know if you can change the filler on the KR808 cartos. i know i tried actually last nite and tonite i was trying to stuff 1 carto in but couldnt do it. came out all bumpy and torn lol. man ill never do taht again. But i am tired of 3 piece carts cause i just cant get the right vape. the 510 is nice but for now i have to drip. im trying different filler for the 510 and cant seem to get it right. tried blue foam and didnt work for me. The KR808 are fine the way they are but with Drews liquid only for me. and i use Greencig cartos. had them for months now and keep using them over and over since september. just lost a few since then. some i took apart in teh beginning but now i just use a syringe and inject threw the bottom of the battery end 23 drops of juice. in the KR808 i put in about 20 to 25 drops. but when i just top off its about 10 drops.

I take the top off and hold at an angle then drip the juice in slowly.. Someone mentioned the condom method but that might waste more juice. Not sure if there's a better way but that's how I filled them tonight. They were blanks so I put in about 20 drops. Might need to put more in already, wow.

Just edited this.. I opened the cart and it looked dry already maybe 20 drops on a blank is not enough? Looked pretty wet to me at first.. Got the flavor back and a ton of vapor

I originally got the foam from strictlyejuice, a pack of 10 for .75 cents, the size is about 7/16 inch square and yes its just in the top of the cart with the juice under it. works real good so far, i tried the straw mods and no luck with those, the only thing i do sometimes is when filling i poke at the foam with a paperclip to getany air out but usually ust drip on it and it takes it right in.

By the way for some reason the fluval /elheim seems to work better than the blue foam on the xhaler with the 4.5 atty ( not sure why) The blue foam floods the atty on the xhaler but not on the 3.7 setup. still learning all this.

The cartomizers hold the most juice (about 1 ml. or 28 - 30 drops) the 510 carts only hold 10 - 15 drops.

Congrats on the xhaler...it is a vapor monster!

Check out the other xhaler threads on here, when it's time for a cleaning you'll definitely want to use some noalox on the switch and housing. It makes a world of difference and will keep your xhaler performing flawlessly. Drew has a video post on here somewhere showing how to do it. And keep your atty's & carts wet, you will go through a lot of e-juice!

Try Scottyballs' ZFM carts with a 510, the large hole version has worked great for me at 5-6V in my XHaler.
