If you have one of the new XPV's what do you like about it so far? Any downsides with it? Any thoughts appreciated!
Looks like a killer mod.. Love the shape!

My XPV with the DNA-30 arrived Monday (3/3). I am really impressed with the build-quality - it is as near perfection as is humanly possible imo. I've used it with every one of my RBAs with coils ranging from .8-1.7, and from 12-23 watts power. I got the Sony VTC4 2100 mah battery, and though I have read that battery life is sometimes poor with the DNA-30, that has not been my experience. It's definitely an all-day capable device with that battery. They tell me they will be putting batteries up on their site very soon for individual purchase with the connector already soldered on, and that they will be in the $15.00 vicinity. I see that Sony has a new battery, the VTC5, coming out soon that is 2600 mah, and I would be very surprised if Protovapor chose not to carry it, so I think I'll wait on that before purchasing a backup to keep on-hand. There's a decent review of the XPV on Youtube here: Protovapor XPV DNA 20 review - YouTube that helped me make the decision to purchase. Mine came with the o-ring mentioned in the video already installed, as well as a spare and an ego adapter.

i recieved my xpv 30d about two weeks ago. My initial impressions were that is built very well, and could tell alot of thought went into designing it. I did not like the plastic they used for the clip, logo, and button surrounds though. It seemed rough and not a nice tactile feel. The abrasiveness has worn down some, and i can forsee that it will get smoother overtime so that is moot now. The other thing i found strange is the up/down wattage control is reverse of what i think it should be ... it's right to go down, and left to go up. I also wish the screen was on the same side as the button. But despite all this, it is solidly built, doesn't weigh too much, has a clip so it doesn't fall out of my pocket, doesn't roll around on the table, and looks nice. I think a black kayfun would look really good on it! So far my wattage use is only 7 - 10 with my coil at 1/16 at 8/9 wraps coming out at 2.5 ohms using bamboo wick... anything higher just seems too high. maybe it's my juice, wick, idk. So, i would've been more than fine with a 20d but whatever. All in all, i'm very happy with it.
