xtra long battery -draw is absolutely terrible!!

This is why I chose Vapor4Life over other companies.
Well, no matter what...I just can not use this battery:-( I have tried.
In addition, come to find out that fully charged it barely lasts. It only lasted from 1:51AM to 2:59AM! How long do the x-long batts usually last or are supposed to last? (I have mega 510 batteries, which, with an kr808 adapter, last a lot, lot longer!) So, I am now convinced I got a "dud" x-long battery :-(.
How and where do I contact V4L to let them know I will need a replacement.

The business cards that you should have received with your order have contact info out the wazoo. Phone numbers, address, email...
Yes. Smaller holes mean less airflow to cool the cartos, so means they get hotter.
I like the larger holes but I think they should be just a tad smaller, not much.
I like the smaller holes myself....I always dragged very deep and hard on analogs, and kind of miss it.
Yeppers! I am with ya! A few times my holes have gotten clogged and a push pin sets it right again, but the draw in the XLs rocks my world too!
Just got a Lanyard, so along with an XL manual will fit the bill as my "mod" until the VK1 arrives.

I hope I did not offend you with my choice of words.
What I was saying was that with the extra long battery I happen to get, the draw is terrible! Now, I agree that that does not mean all of them are like that, just the one I got is definately not enjoyable.
I have been vaping since April 09 and have quite a few other model , including other 808 batteries. Compared to the other ones I have, this does seem to be especially hard to draw on. So it looks like mine was build on the first day after a Chinese holiday when everyone in the factory was still worn out, LOL. It happens.

Is this, by any chance, the new purple XL manual you're using in your recent video from China? Looks sooo cool. Is this "the ultimate"? I think we should find a happy medium, as in medium size holes (slightly bigger than originals, maybe a bit smaller than on shorties, even though the auto shorties are great), a medium cut-off time (13 sec is an overkill, especially if it shortens the life of the battery--10 sec?)
I want that purple baby so bad....

I have the XL battery manual and love it. Just ordered another one. I am spending a fortune. Anyway, I find the XL to be pretty close to my pass-through although definitely a little noisy. What are the shorties like?
I only have one auto chrome shorty but it's fantastic. Tons of vapor, perfect draw, snap and crackle and whistle sounds, albeit very subtle and somehow soothing. Really feels like and analog, light and handy. Love at first sight. I'm waiting for the black to be back in stock. Highly recommended.
hmmmm....wondering if i should order one??? just curious how it compares to the xl manual?
