I can't compare only have 2 clones that I feel are well worth the 50 bucks each I paid for them. They are the only devices I have used since they landed.

Warm mod I attributed how I hold them wrapped in my hand. I did not consider them too warm.

The display I felt was top notch. Very bright and clear.

No issues screwing attomizers in threads.. felt fine on mine.

Battery meter seemed to work as well as any other mods I have used. I do change batteries out sometime after it's on it's last mark as I start to notice a drop off. Have never ran it to a dead battery.

The issue of " ohms too high" I felt was a non issue. It does not seem to effect the vape and I can't see the screen when vaping.

My buttons work great no issues for me.

The style of course is top notch ( yes its a copy...clone or whatever) the material used feels top notch and paint or whatever seems fine.

BIG BIG issue I have had (somebody else has stated some evolve chips do the same thing) is the "new coil up same down" at that point you get no vape and have to press the up or down button to continue. I may or may not have fixed this issue by unscrewing the 510 plate back and forth to what I THINK is a better ground. As an added measure I removed the 510 plate and added electrical grease. At this point I am going on 24 hours without a single message " new coil up same down"

I am not in any way saying all of these clones are perfect I am only stating the condition of my two clones.......

cant believe this was only $50!

feels super solid. had same crunchy 510 threads, but after working them in with a few atties its totaly great, smooth as butter. buttons rattle some, but nice n clicky. ive only used temp control, running ti coils on all my atties. set temp to 360f and hits the same as my authentic dna200's and dna40's.

the only flaw ive noticed so far is the real time temp readout. it never hits the temp i set on screen, but regulates as if it is. seems as though its not nearly as fast as the real time temp on authies and maybe thats the reason?! its not even an issue since the vape is identical and regulates perfctly. vaped down to a few empty tanks and not a dry hit or even a hint of one!

so far, homerun!

Fair enough and thanks. Both the 30 and 40 from Evolv have always and I repeat always done the new coil up same down" blurb. Nothing you or me can do about it. It does this on an intermittent bases. Yes it's a pain but a single click and it's gone. I'm speaking as an owner of both the 30 and 40 authentic Evolv chips. Newer firmware chip rev may have fixed this but I doubt it. It has something to do with "calibration" but that's all I can offer and I do realize their is no calibration in power mode but what can I say. Since this chip is a counterfeit, maybe the developers can fix it in a future version which would be nice.

For Kat...Brandon and John are co-owners and co-inventors at Evolv. Real pioneers and innovators in vaping since it began. They hold the patent on VW (they invented it as far as the Patent office is concerned) and have created such products as the 30, 40, Kick, 200, and of course the Darwin. Bugs and glitches and all, we owe them both tons, and tons and tons. It breaks my heart that this counterfit stick has chosen to use their name in the splash screen. That's just wrong. Not to mention the "confusion" it can and will create in the marketplace. I have zero connection with Evolv but have spoken with Brandon a number of times when I was writing an article for my Blog. Great guy! Bugs, glitches and all. Their would be NO TP revolution without these geeks. They started it and the bat cave geeks followed.

:)

A Sammy 25R last at least a full day for me. Over 12 hours. Juice consumed was about 5 ML running at 1.5 OHMS and around 14 watts. The battery icon just stays on the last horizontal bar for quite some time. I think the cell life is satisfactory. And that's a good thing :) I think the battery icon sucks eggs! /lol

LONG LIVE THE COUNTERFITTERS!!! /lol :)

Up to this point it's been very civil here because the posters have not got into the merits of right or wrong as far as counterfitting goes. There are numerous threads where this is and has been debated here on ecf. I prefer not to get into that debate. I will continue to post here giving my insights into this clone and offer help where I can unless this thread get's derailed into the counterfit debate then I am gone

for clarification, new coil dialog was introduced with tc in the dna40. never existed for dna30 or older.

Thank you, Senior. :)

I'm appreciating this clown for what it is, but, like you, I do dislike the use of the Evolv splash, and the XvoStick logo as well.

Brandon and I are acquainted actually, and know his work fairly well. Yes, he and John have brought SO much to our vape table over the years. They truly have pioneered in the field, and their products have been more than well received.

Yes, received my clone....and it seems to be working fine.

I will post some comparison picturs, and some differences I found. This is the clone from 3fvape. transit time to europe: 11 days.

First impression: it works fine, no issues with: buttons, scratches, working in watt or temp mode, 510 threading/connection, battery cap threading/sitting flush.

Differences:
- Clone only does Farhenheit in temp mode, original also does Celsius
- Clone has clickier fire button ( I actually like original button better)
- Clone has brighter screen and logo
- In temp mode clone needs to be set to 500F/30W to get about the same vape as original at 430F/30W, this compares to SX mini when it is set at about 350F/25J
- Clone has springloaded 510, original has adjustable 510
- Clone weight 175grams, original is 180grams (incl. battery)
- battery cap clone sits about 1/2mm recessed, original sits flush
- box clone has plain lettering, original has silver lettering and different font
- clone has different screws than original
- up/down button are reversed: clone right is up, original right is down
- after leaving the clone alone for a few minutes the voltage display turn to temperature display. It then shows the "ohm to high" message when firing. Does not seem to affect the vape. The original also switches to temperature, but switches back to voltage after a few seconds and does not show the message.

pics (sorry for some crappy shots): The one on the right is always the clone

I'll use it for a while, and if anything comes up I'll let you know.
So far I am actually pretty impressed...but only had it for about an hour.

Also, it would be interesting to see the difference between the Fastech version and the 3FVape version ... Seems like about everyone that has ordered one of these clones here has ordered through 3FVape.

From the photo on the Fasttech website, the Fasttech version has the 'donkey' logo, but not the 'XvoStick' lettering ... I am thinking that the manufacturers of these two clones are not the same.

Also, from the photo on the Fasttech site, there XvoStick clone comes packaged in a plain black box without any logo or lettering on it at all.

OK update: I did just get the "ohms to high" message.....it seems when not handled for a few minutes it reverts to temp mode (at least it shows the temp instead of the voltage)...probably why we get the message. The original does the same, but after a few seconds it jumps back to voltage (which apperantly the clone does not) and I don't get the message....
It does however not seem to affect the vape (just like others reported earlier)

Thanks.

BTW ... Others have said that if you are in the regular "power" mode of operation, and you have a coil of greater than 1.0 ohms in your atty, you will see a "Ohms Too high" error message when you press the fire button.

But, lets say you are vaping in the power mode and it's set to 12 watts ... Then it automatically goes into the Temp mode, wouldn't it then supply a different watts to your coil based on whatever temp was originally set in the mod?

I mean, it certainly would not be the 12 watts you had set in it yourself prior to the mod reverting back to the temp mode.

I am just about ready to order from Fasttech on the hopes that there XvoStick clone is manufactured by a different company, and it does not have this problem.

On the other hand, the Fasttech clone may be inferior as far as fit and finish is concerned ????

I wish someone would post here that has taken delivery of one of these clones from Fasttech, but it seems everyone has ordered from 3FVape.

In temp mode you also set the wattage (to set how much watt will be applied to reach the temp) I have set this wattage to 13W (it is actually the same setting as the wattage setting in wattage mode, the setting carries over between the 2 modes).....when it is in this state it goes up in wattage to this 13W I have set and than displays the message...so I think it does actually cut off at the wattage you have set.

Yes I am also very curious about the fasttech clone, so any1 who has one (or on it's way) please chime in!...my GF now also wants one....so I might go the fasttech route for that one. But it will be another month or so before it get's here.
