Great photos!

Looking closely at those photos, I believe this mod has a black 'paint' finish which to me means that it will scratch easily.

I know the original Chels XvoStick has a hard 'anodized' finish that is very difficult to scratch.
that doesnt look like a Rayn board. I wonder who makes the board. Any chance you can pull the board out? Are you scrapping the mod or repairing it? ill buy it if you dont want to repair it.

This is not a Rayn Board for sure. It´s too short (about 3cm), the display is different (like a SXK ), some messages are different and the response time of the + and - buttons is too slow. So it´s not a Rayn board.

I have some issue with the resistance measuring and the confirmation of "old coil" and so I took it apart. The resistance value is always too high, but can be different some. Because it`s anodized aluminum I wanted to check how they solved the body ground - maybe that`s the reason (Vapor Flask ;) ).

The way they lead the battery negative to the electronic and the 510 is not bad. The 510 is screwed into the upper body part and there is a small grub screw to make extra contact and hold it in place. Under the bottom cover of the bottom part 2 long screws make contact to the upper part. Under one of these screws is a soldering lug leading to the board. That`s not the best solution, but quite good because you have to tighten the screw very good to keep the upper part in place. IMHO all power leading wires are too thin. My 510 positive wire was stripped bad and so only a few wires were soldered.

The coating is anodized for sure but I guess they used two different aluminums, because the upper parts color is anthracite and the bottom part is black.

I want to share my 1 week experience so far using the xvostick clone. Ill try to keep it short and sweet. Mine was purchased through 3F.

I am coming from an authentic DNA40 device, vaporshark rDNA40 which has been used for about a year now. Topper I always use nowadays is a nextgen genesis RTA.

Pros :

- Battery life for some reason has about doubled for me using the same batteries I always use in my rDNA40. I honestly think the authentic evolv DNA40 chip is a piece of garbage. I have had nothing but problems and annoyances with it. I think the china chip inside the Xvostick is more efficient in use and at idle. There seems to be almost zero battery drain while the xvostick is not being used. My authentic DNA40 would continue to slowly drain the battery over time while just sitting overnight.

-Obviously form factor is what we all buy this thing for. It is amazingly small. I really love how my nextgen sits flush with the entire mod. There is nothing protruding other than the drip tip. Pocketability factor is a 10/10.

-Overall build quality seems to be better than my authentic rDNA40. The weight and finish are all top notch.

-The screen is pretty bright. Initially, I thought coming from a big screen DNA40 screen I would have issue with the small screen on this Xvostick clone, but it has caused no hassle for me.

Cons:

- Dry firing your topper / coil while being attached to the xvostick cant be done, for obvious reasons.

- Building a coil while your topper is attached to the xvostick is impossible for obvious reasons.

- If your tank does not have a top fill screw or an easy way to fill from the top without unscrewing the entire tank, you have to unscrew the entire tank to fill. Even though my nextgen is top fill, I still have to unscrew the tank from the mod because there is just not enough space for me to grip the top to screw the top cap off.

Honestly these cons are a small price to pay for such a compact non-obtrusive package. My rdna40 now is just a build mod for me.

I cant believe how high quality this clone is, its alot better made than my authentic rDNA40.

10/10 from me. I love it and recommend it highly.

** I forgot to mention that I cannot comment on anything regarding Temp control as I have no interest in it anymore. I purchased device to be solely used with kanthal.

Another quick review here I eventually got mine from 3f it's possibly one of the best chassis I have seen for a clone, and pretty close to a genuine Xvo. The anodising is spot on and the 510 is SS mine jammed after a couple of atty swaps but easily sorted.

The chip is ok but I have never vaped a China DNA that worked as well as an evolv the only feature I like on the clone boards is the nickel purity for adjusting the TCR sadly this board doesn't have this feature. Battery life is always worse on clone boards. There is a firing delay on this board, resistance seems accurate and the TC works. I had a look I am not sure who makes the clone board in this Xvo clone.

I am not an evolv fan boy but I do own a few evolv mods and I have retrofitted every dna clone mod I have kept with evolv boards.

All in all a great clone glad I ordered one!

he said its a nextgen. @ZeroOhm rockin the taifun gt 2 i believe!
It's a bit of a Frankenstein atty it's sold as a GS II 22MM by Hotcig clone it's really a small Taifun GSL as there really 23MM and won't fit in a Xvostick due to the knurling on the tank and AFCs increasing the diameter to more than 23MM. It's probably one of the best tanks I ever vaped flavour wise but it burns through juice like you wouldn't believe!

The juice feed can be tricky but once mastered it's works a real treat :)

This is a 19mm GS II clone or darth vader;)

I would say it has the edge flavour wise than a GT II?!

Here's my GT II !:)
