Update: The Basen Black 4500 batteries fit well, however a few of the threads are still exposed above the top of the device. With a length of 64.4, they should fit without threads exposed if Mini had created a battery compartment with the correct depth. I believe all of this can be solved with an adjustable positive contact. All in all, I'm very pleased with the device.

Just be aware that finding a 26650 that will allow your battery cap to sit flush may not be possible. The capacity drops enough with a properly sized battery, that you may want to pick up the regular Xvo instead.

Orange MNKE.. Flush, and then some, for pro xvostick.

Good to know there is a battery that fits properly! Personally I'd pick up the regular Xvo and some HG2s, since the MNKE are rated at 3500, just my preference.

The Basen Black 4500 are actually outperforming the Orbtronic 5200, getting almost three days from a single battery at 29w and .9Ω. Discharging them down to 3.4V before recharging.

I've been getting brilliant performance too, from my Xvo(s) with HG2s. And being only slightly larger & heavier than the new Billet Box, but without having to deal with those boro tanks, they provide an excellent alternative to use (depending on my mood that day).

I simply couldn't go any larger, or I'd only rarely use it.

That's JUST me (I get that).

Xvostick Light with a Calix V2 Nano and a SS str 10 drip tip. The atty sits dead flush with the top of mod. Only 10mm on tip extends. Thing hits like a dream. Since I am a MTL guy I only use about 17.5 watts so battery lasts me a full 24 hours. I couldnt be happier.

You guys are in trouble now. I broke down and bought a red xvostick with the nasty buttons tonight from Vapinart, the only supplier I could find. I'm just afraid that a good SBS won't get released by the August deadline, and the Knight doesn't cut it for me.

FEAR MY NASTY BRASS BUTTONS!!!!!! I know I do!

Dude - seriously, if you don't absolutely LOVE it, even WITH the nasty brass buttons, I'll relieve you of it. You're covered.

And you WILL love it!!! Congratulations, my friend. I love it. :thumb:

ps: JWraps has some SWEET wraps, if you get sick of the red. ;)

I dunno, I actually prefer the red to the blue (the blue is all gone, all that is left are the reds at Vapinart, and I looked EVERYWHERE). I'm kind of daydreaming about this Calix to go with it:

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO happy for you, Stealthness!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I couldn't hold off any longer. My carry-to-work and in-the-car mod right now is the Plato, but it depends on coils, and I'm trying to get away from the blister packs in favor of rebuildables. Soooo very hard after all these years of pack-poppin'... Anyhoo, the Plato needs to go in the stash box, my 2.5 minis don't have the battery life, my reg 2.5s aren't suitable for carrying in a pocket unless I want people looking at me funny , and the Knight is the brickiest of bricks, so I had to decide to either wait and hope a good true SBS came out before August and risk the last of the XVOs selling out, or take the plunge, so I sold a kabuki and did it.

Probably not my last mod buy before August. I'll probably buy a couple more <$50 mods to be safe.

I obviously can't say for sure, but I believe that you're going to be thrilled with your new toy. They're truly extraordinary devices, and bring "comfort" to a whole other level. Even after all the :censored: we went through, I couldn't be happier about having them. They're THAT good (for me).

And we just plunked down $40 for pre-orders of a pretty cool. almost "wannabe", the Rolo RX75. Not quite as compact. but close enough, with some pretty cool other features and design. But that's an accent to the Xvo's, not a replacement (for me).

Seriously, get excited. I highly doubt you'll be disappointed.
