Mine usually take 48-72 hours to respond to. Is that normal? Should I just be more patient?

I'm not sure how much "more patient" I have in me, but I guess I can try.

I don't see 48-72 hours as a "normal" time period for a vendor's reply. Nope, not at all.

You may have more patience than I at this point, DPL.

Notso, I sincerely HOPE you have no issues at all. In general, what was the timely manner in actual days? Same day? One day?

I usually received a response the next day. If I send on the weekend then I do not expect to hear until Monday earliest. I don’t recall having to wait 72 hours though. If it was me, I would do a follow if I have not back by 48 hours.

After my first day and a half with this device I have to say I'm extremely pleased with it. The mod itself is pretty much flawless, so comfortable and finally everything I need in a package the size of a pack of a cigarettes (not that I've had one of those in my pockets since 2012 :) )

Compared to my previous device, the SX Mini, I get significantly more battery life at 40w. WRT to the dna 40, I would definitely appreciate another 10 watts or so but the battery life makes up for that. The battery indicator is not super-reliable, so that's a step down from the SX Chip that actually showed the remaining battery voltage. Otherwise, great!

dplongo and katdraling, considering how much I'm enjoying mine, I'm sorry to hear about the bad experience you've had. Sounds like you're burned out on Mini-ecig, but assuming this batch is all the same I think if you sold off your current devices and picked up the SS one from VA that's the same of mine you'll be pleased.

I'm still here on ECF... sort of. ;)

Thanks, aheatedatom! Firstly, glad to hear you're enjoying yours. It's a sensationally sweet device, and the design is OOO LA LA.

I wouldn't say we're quite burned out with Mini at this point, but the embers could use a bit of rekindling, fer sure.

As much as I resisted the brass buttons, so far they look pretty darn good, and I'm not unhappy with them at all. And the blue, welp, it's truly beautiful. :)

I have emailed a couple of times and got a response same day (but their time zone is pretty much the same as the UK). I have finally got my shipping info (ordered 30th August) so looking forward to getting it and hoping it will be a good one! 72 hours is unacceptable!

I'm sure yours will be good, kates. If ours weren't anomalies they'd be out of business. I have faith for you.

I've already purchased one from VA, so our count is up for four right now. We actually have two.

I'm not sure I want to sink any more investment into XvoSticks, especially given VA's return policy. If we had 30 days (to identify any issues), I'd seriously consider it.

Thanks - fingers crossed here - it's meant a delay on the radius (got to save some more pennies - my vape budget is a bit depleted!!). Hopefully it will all work out for you too!

Their communications have more than met my expectations thus far. The one thing that I keep forgetting about are the Israel holidays.

My tracking thus far based on Israel time zone:

11/10/2015 01:30 The EMS item was sent to the United States.
08/10/2015 19:46 The EMS item is being forwarded to the EMS sorting center before sending it abroad.
08/10/2015 10:24 The EMS item is being forwarded to the EMS sorting center before sending it abroad.
08/10/2015 09:50 The EMS item was sent at the postal unit Givat Ram.

The Radius looks very nice. FYI I purchased the P3 when it first came out in late 2014. Upon arrival it had a wonky button and I was really surprised knowing the quality of ProVape products. When they were first released I paid $313.95 for it so more expensive than the Xvo — the difference being is that I was able to return it for full refund (I think it may have had to do with a 7-day return policy) without hassle. I ended up buying a VS rDNA40 for over $100 less than the P3 and that has been my last mod purchase up until now. For whatever reason I want a new tube mod and like the looks of the HoH Geisha however it has a few negatives for me. Also curious about the Radius and awaiting the announcement on the specs I will not be an early adopter though :).

For a new tube mod you could also take a look at the dicodes dani extreme v2+ (small, 40w, takes all wires, quality device, but expensive), just got one and I like it very much! (but not as much as the xvostick lol)

Btw: my communication with mini also was pretty smooth, mostly got an answer the same or next day

In my case, it's likely a combination of the pent-up anger I displayed, along with (hopefully) at least some embarrassment at one person having received two mods - both with issues.

I accept my share of the responsibility.

Well I think you shouldn't. They should be able to understand the frustration one has when 2 expensive devices are faulty and they should be professional about it. Or even better, work even harder than normal to get the customer back on track asap and regain their confidence, no matter if some frustration was vented in the communication.

Btw: Did you already receive your devices back?

xvosticks claim leak proof.

Are they talking about just the 510 pin or also the area around the adjustable deck?

When I get a free moment going to take the top half off and see how its setup under the deck. Watching the numerous videos it seems easy enough. Unscrew the 510 deck take bottom 3 screws out and loosen the 2 screws holding the 2 parts together

Unfortunately, no. They won't ship them back until they receive my shipment, which has been floating around Israel for weeks now. Because Kat "used" hers (for about 20 minutes), they consider it a "repair" not a "replace" item. Since mine never worked, it's a "replace". Whatever.

That's a large part of my disappointment. I am certain that I'd have treated it different, if the situations were reversed. I'd have shipped two new ones out immediately, once I received confirmation that the originals were on their way back (which they did receive and acknowledge).

Update (received 45 minutes ago). It's impossible for me to get excited right now. In about two weeks, after they've been received and tested, I hope to get excited again.

Hi David,

I am truly sorry for all these delays. We have received your order today finally, it is already repaired and shipped.
