Just realized something, the YStick's layout doesn't look left hand friendly at all, that's kind of an issue and definitely a bummer for me, I vape left handed almost exclusively...wondering if I should go ahead and keep My order in at the good price and give it a test drive...I dunno.

That was one of.thr first, things.tjst I noticed. Design wise, I'm not sure anything can touch the X

I definitely prefer an ambivapetrous device...I'll likely bail out on it, I need another device like a hole in my head.

Tru, head holes are quite underated.

But yes, an ambivaperous device is more to my liking as well.

I want an authentic xvostick so bad, but only in black / SS buttons.

Seems like nobody has them in stock.

Vapinart does have a proxvostick in stock however. But im very hesitant to pull the trigger on one. I dont know if the added size will annoy me, not to mention I'd have to buy new 26650's as I do not own any currently.

However if the run time of a 26650 is really THAT much longer, then maybe I will settle with it and be happy.

Can maybe anyone who has a proxvostick and xvostick comment on battery life between the two? Or maybe not even that.

More like, can someone who owns both an authentic 26650 DNA40 mod and authentic 18650 DNA40 mod comment on battery life?

The only 26650 battery i've seen that I would actually buy is orbtronics 5200 mah 20amp battery. This orbtronic battery vs something like 3000mah LG HG2, would I actually be getting 2200mah extra run time?

I currently carry 18650's in my jeans pocket, the little one above the main right pocket that usually comes on jeans. I dont think i would like to fit a fat 26650 in there as it would be quite uncomfortable I would imagine.

But... it might meet some of the qualifications for chick magnet.

It does look geared towards right hand users, and using thumb firing. But it doesn't seem to akward firing it in the left hand using the index finger, not with the top of the finger, but just squeezing the finger against the button.....but I agree, firing with the right hand seems more comfortable.

I don't own a Proxvostick, but I do own a Dicodes No6 which uses 26650. I have samsung 25R 18650's (2500Mah) in the xvostick and Keeppower 26650 (4200Mah) in the Dicodes. And I do get significantly longer battery life from the 26650, but can't compare it to the HG batts, but guess the difference will be smaller.

I do think the xvostick is the better form factor over the Pro version, it's just so small and comfortable. That alone is enough for me to get the Xvo over the Pro.
Those 26650's are pretty big, you don't want to put them in your front jean pockets....what will people think :) !

I guess after reading your guys comments I think that yes I would be happier with a smaller sized Xvostick rather than the Pro.

I think the Pro would still be a great mod, but in my mind that extra battery life would negate the entire point of a small device. I only vape at most 15w MTL gennies, however that might change soon as I just bought a wotofo serpent since I have been kind of craving clouds recently after selling all of my subohm stuff a year ago. I dont think im writing off the Pro just yet, but I am def still weighing the pros and cons of the purchase.

I contacted Vapinart and about when they would receive further stock of the Xvostick. They emailed back and said:

"At the moment we are not sure if we will be receiving any further stock of the Black SS version. According to them, they have stopped producing the regular Xvostick SS. That may change but we haven’t received any confirmation from them as of yet."

If this is true, its kind of a bummer. I cant imagine a company like miniecig not producing more of their bread and butter product. I know their developing the Ystick / ProYstick and a bunch of random box mods (xvostick light // Azeno box) but to me the xvostick is one of a kind, I really hope they dont stop making it.

I love the SS version, but the brass is quite acceptable too (this coming from a person who absolutely despises the stuff). The mod is nice enough that you really won't care that much, if it's your only option.

But if you're patient, I'll be stunned if you don't see one of what you want popping up sooner or later. Someone will be looking to finance something newer, and decide to sell theirs.

Grab a chair, pop up some corn, and wait it out. If you pop it, it will come. :pop:;)

I agree with you. The XVO would trump the Pro for my liking, specifically due to the size. But for those who want the extra run time, so be it.

That's a real surprise! I can't believe Mini has stopped producing the regular XvoSchticks!!! Certainly they want to market their newer items, but as you said, that's their bread and buttah!

And yes, with the launch (possibly this weekend) of the new Billet Box 4, there certainly may be people selling off their Xvos. Would make sense. ;)

I'm not overly familiar with the new Billet Box so this could be way off base, to me it seems like a completely different animal compared to an XVO and I don't really see someone that is interested in or already ownes one selling it to buy a BB...but who knows.

It IS a different animal, Tru, but I could see it happening.

What's more surprising to me will be if the rumors of discontinued Xvo are true. It has the best ergonomics ever, at least for me, and I wouldn't trade mine for a Y, even if cash was included (to a point, of course).

I agree it would be very strange to see them discontinue the Xvostick in favor of the Ystick, they are pretty different both in form and in function.

I do however see them discontinue it in favor of the Xvostick light, same form (mostly), same function, but cheaper to make, and hence put on the market at a lower pricepoint than the Ystick (while the regular Xvo was/is at the same pricepoint)

That way they keep their mod with the excellent form factor, but older tech, next to a bit more expensive model with newer tech. Makes sense to me.

EXCELLENT point, Dru, and agreed.

Both of mine are wrapped anyway, so whether the line was straight or curved is basically irrelevant. Saving money is good. :)
