Snus! Used to love that stuff from time to time... real nicotine junky here... used to.dip and smoke at the same time, and there was one time that I had a nicotine patch on while dipping and smoking... guess that's why I didn't worry to much when I had the top on a bottle of 24 mg juice break and about half of the 100 ml bottle splashed in my face.

I liked the effect of the nicotine, but the rest of it isn't so....girly. I've been having issues with vaping and all kinds of reactions to stuff, and I don't like smoking anymore and really can't do it now but there are some really good things in tobacco that I think I need, so I though swedish snus could be a good alternative.

I guess just like smoking and vaping, you have to get used to it. I don't know if I can get past the yuck factor now that I've tried it...

The mint ones are the best, I never used it for long period of time so no idea what effects it could have on teeth or the inner part of your lips and gums. But yes mint is the way to go for sure

Thanks for the congrats on my 30 days. I am proud of it. I worked for it. And I do not mind fluffing my feathers about it. Now my DH does not like the smell of some of the tobacco vapes I have tried. And he still swears that he feels an effect from what I am vaping and swears he felt a little light headed or dizzy when we went to a vape meet with about 50 or so people vaping in an average sized bar. I am convinced it is all in his head. He never smoked but he is around smokers in little bars for hours at a time playing pool on a league, so if cigarette smoke doesn't bother him, why would vapor. It's in his head. It is something strange to him and he is imagining it is affecting him, I am sure. But try to convince HIM of that! I have not read anywhere where someone is effected by 2nd hand vapor.

I just was gifted a sample of Boba's and I like it, it is something I will pick up down the road. My all day vapes right now are Nitelite Vapor's Gold and now I discovered I also like Bounty Hunter since I tried a sample they sent me. So it looks like I like a sweeter tobacco vape. I like the Swedish Fish and a Peppermint from DeejStuff, but those I can only drip for a short time. I would never be able to fill my Evod with them and vape all day. So, I guess I am looking for a non tobacco vape. I have tried a lot of juices, over 75 and the super sweet candies and menthols and mints or licorice or cinnamon don't do it for me.

I am pretty happy with my Spinners, but would like to get something like a Vamo. Of course I would love a Provari but do not see one in my future. And if I get better equipment, then I would need better delivery systems, et al. And lots more money and learning. So I stay where I am for a while. I have plenty of time.

Congrats on the month without smoking, I'm finding myself vaping a tobacco flavor right now (got it from group treasure chest ) it's halo long.horn, it's a cigar... have had 3 people take a puff and they said it tastes like a cigar... and my fiance a few minutes ago walked in and thought I was smoking cigars lol. I'm even getting a cigar after taste it's actually kind of freaking me out lol.

Yeah I had a coffee flavor that I thought I liked, it was coffee and cream from blue mist vaping (now called azure vaping) and it was a decent vape, didn't get a burnt of taste that I can remember, didn't order more before I had found bobas bounty and didn't use anything else for a long time.

The cost of vaping is odd, it can cost so much more than cigs... or almost nothing at all, I was down to less than a dollar a day for along time, which is insane compared to the 20 dollar a day habit I had smoking analogs... but when I started out I spent allot, 60 ego kit, hundreds on juice, cartos, carto tanks, clearomizers, and my 200 dollar purchase of my provari (with it since it's still working perfectly and I had the extra money back then)... then I realized boge cartos and bobas bounty was all I needed since all the new best stuff was more frustrating than it was worth. Now I have a very cheap rebuildable and very happy with it.

Looks like we have a lot in common, except with you and your wild creativity thing. I never even used the Blu long enough to wear out the battery. It is still here somewhere. Hiding amongst the myriad bottles of juices I do not care for but can not seem to part with yet in the hopes they will taste better in another week or so... I like NLV Gold (tastes like waffles and maple syrup and tobacco) and NLV Bounty (tastes like a vanilla tobacco). So sweeter tobaccos for me. No luck for me yet on coffees or chocolate.

And I am decidedly a late night kinda gal. Too late these days.

We started out exactly the same way, tried a Blu out of curiosity and started searching the net for this. as it turns out, group. I still really haven't found my favorites yet but I use tobacco juices much of the day. I've only tried one chocolate, dark chocolate, but have only tried it mixed with something else so far and not impressed, maybe after it steeps a bit more. I would love to find a really good coffee or cappuccino, I do like cin-a-bun and red apple though. Oh and I'm also a nightowl, lol

All I can say is you guys are WAY out of my league here. Have fun trying Alisa, more power to you.

I used to swallow the juice from straight dipping tobacco, it makes some people feel sick to their stomach, but Snus doesn't seem to make people feel that way.

I used to say that too. And I have tried a lot of things. Now I am getting much pickier on what I am willing to try. My son's grandmom went zip lining at 81 yrs old. Nope, I won't do it. If I had the choice between having to jump off a kitchen table and somebody shooting me, I'd say shoot me. I am afraid of heights. Food is the one area that I would tend to try just about anything. But no chittlins for me. Probably a few other things if I thought on it. Oh, and no camping without a motor home with a toilet and shower.

That's the one i wanted, but they didn't have it (at least it didn't say mini mint on the can). They're really small tho--like less than an inch long and 1/2 wide...I thought that was pretty small.

So will the juice make me sick? I was worried I was gonna puke if I swallowed it...I know you're supposed to swallow but that was so nasty!

I might be able to, but they were already pretty small...the casing is like a teabag, so I could probably do it. I am willing to try it again, but the swallowing thing is what got me this time. You're not supposed to spit, although I suppose you could. My whole thing is that I hate chew because the spitting part is gross. So I thought snus wouldn't be so bad. It's supposed to not make you salivate as much.

I got my face slapped by my mom when I was a teenager and I told her I would try anything once.:facepalm:

Ugh! I'm stuck on dial-up at the moment ... storms again.
Just swinging by to say good night, I'll try to catch up tomorrow:)

We could sure use some rain here in North Texas. Storms tonight ended up going just south of us through Dallas...again :(

I have been thinking of trying out the Snus too but haven't yet. Maybe the next time I get a $1.00 off coupon in a pack of Camels I'll give 'em a go. The swallowing your saliva with it in your mouth has me a little unsure, I know swallowing from chewing tobacco can make you pretty sick lol.

Time for bed :)

OOooo! And I have not tried that one yet. I was too intent on figuring out which one was the Boba's Bounty. Ok, I will take my Gold Evod off the Spinner and put on my atty and start dripping it tonight. Love to see one of your faves. I will let you know in a bit. What voltage do you like it at for full flavor. Remember I am on a spinner with a 2.3ohm 510 atty. It will save me some fiddling since I am not good at knowing how to find the sweet spot on a juice yet.

Alissa maybe try the loose Snus??

Shari #7 is one of my adv for over 2 years ;)

I should have a lot of 'get a thing of camel snus for $1' coupons around here, if you or anyone else wants them. Or if I'm wrong and they got thrown away, I get them a couple times a month from an in store Camel rep at a few of the gas stations I frequent, so I could make a point of holding on to them and mailing 'em to whoever wants them. Not sure if anyone would be interested since it is the Camel stuff and not the holy grail swedish snus everyone seems to be in love with, but the offer stands when I find them/get more.

Err.. The offer stands if I'm allowed to make it anyway. I am unsure where offering coupons stands, and it isn't technically vape gear. I don't have much to offer by way of vape things but coupons... Heh. I could probably supply a small country. ANYWAY! If I am not allowed to make such an offer Mod people, I plead ignorance and best intentions, but please let me know if it's a no-no, k?

Eh, mention was made of the $1 off coupons, and my head went 'Heh, I can beat that, so if he actually wants 'em I can send them out'

Camel rep refuses to just print me the $1 pack of camels coupons, so I end up with a second one, for either a $1 tin of snus, $1 pack of pall Malls, or BOGO grizzly. None of which ever get used. Normally snus unless he is under quota for one of the other ones and he knows you don't really care.

ANYWAY! Since Lox is currently active,I have to know. What's the best approximation of your swedish fish that is sold somewhere anyway? I am now very curious.

So I've got another pack in...this time instead of putting it by my upper molars, I put it in my lower cheek. The juice isn't so bad, but it still burns a little. And it doesn't taste as bad...it seems to more "melt" into my tongue rather than run down my throat. I cant believe I'm talking about this...

Lox, I looked at the can again, and it's not the small size. The store I went to didn't have it, and I didn't want to stop at every Plaid Pantry on the way home so I just got the General Wintergreen. I will say that I only get the mint taste at the beginning.

It's weird! But not bad...

On my way home tonight, I stopped and got some swedish snus. OMG. I don't know what I was expecting, but what I got was definitely NOT it.

Got some spearmint ones, and the packets are very small. Apparently not small enough, because I couldn't jam the packet in high enough to not have the bag resting over my teeth. It burned, and then it seemed fine. I was getting a little bit of a nicotine rush, and the mint was great. Then....a little more burning, then....

...all of a sudden it felt and tasted like my mouth was bleeding. I kind of freaked out and pulled out the packet, and realized my saliva had just wetted the packet enough to make a little "juice" that was floating back to the back of my throat and down. The taste...OMG the taste...
eek7.gif

And then as I was tossing the packet, I saw the crap on my fingers and wondered if my teeth would end up tea-stained if I used this stuff long term. Overall, not a good experience!

But I might try it again...:p

Sounds disgusting!

I'm so glad I'm not that desperate. I don't think I could handle that.

I'm afraid of heights too. I will NEVER jump out of an airplane or bunjee-jump. I'm a food adventurer; the weirdest thing I ever ate was jellyfish. I won't do sweetbreads though. And I love camping...the sleeping bag and tent kind (as long as I have an air mattress, and as long as the campsite has toilets and showers).

I totally agree with all the above....except the food adventures. I won't even eat deer meat. Yuck.

I'm am very afraid of heights ever since I was a child riding in a car in the mountains of West Virginia. I was so afraid we were going to fall off, I insisted on sitting on the side farthest away from the edge just in case, so I could jump out if we went off the edge. :p

Alligator?

No way!!! I had a hard time trying frog legs, but after I got over what they looked like they tasted pretty good.

I think the strangest thing I ever tried was a pickled pig's ear my grandfather talked me into when I was a kid. I couldn't tell you what it tasted like, because as soon as I bit into it and it crunched I ran away spitting.
