for drinking or cleaning?
It would probably work better for getting a buzz than it does for cleaning.
I was never a drinker it has a vile taste to me, but it works for the coils really well, if Shari says it works, it would save money, though I take it from my nephew more often than not
Just got done reading a thread by this girlfriend of a guy who started vaping in the last month. She was complaining about how much time he was spending on ECF. I made a quick post and last sentence was that she should be happy he is home and not smoking. He could be out there doing much worse things. I could have made a little rant, but I do understand her. My DH misses me when I am out here all night chatting.
Even though you don't rebuild your heads, soaking them in alcohol and dry burning them makes them last longer. Just pop 'em in a cup with alcohol for a while, dry burn them for a bit and they work almost like new again.

Can't you sit in the same room with him while on your laptop? That way he still has you in the same room even though you may be distracted while chatting.
Complete with wicks in place? Cause I'm not even going to think about trying to dismantle and try to put things back together that I can't even see. Shacky arthritic hands and very poor close up vision aren't going to work for that.
I soak them wicks and all. It helps to clean the wicks as well. I haven't started rebuilding coils, but I have replaced a few flavor wicks with cotton when they fell apart.
From my reading on what to use, the 91% isopropyl alcohol is what to use. You can also use 100% grain alcohol (which would not be a good idea for you). This would be in the pharmacy and next to the rubbing alcohol. You could always change the label and store it with your other cleaning stuff. The lower percentages don't do the job. There are a lot of people who only use hot water or boil their attys. It is needed more if you use a lot of the darker, sweeter, thicker juices and tobaccos. And I think the real high VG gunks stuff up quicker.

If that works for you, then good. I did not used to use the alcohol until I started switching a lot of flavors and had trouble gettting the old flavor out with just water.
I can't even see those things good with reading glasses. That's why I love the dripping and my Evods. The alcohol soak and good rinse gets most flavors out for me and I am fine with replacing a head every two to three weeks. I am going to save the old Evod heads though in case one of you will want to rebuild them down the road. I do not think I will want to do that.
I rinse in hot water the vast majority of the time. The only time I soak in alcohol is when they're gunked up really bad and need a thorough cleaning.

That works except that I don't vape in the house and he like to watch TV in the dark. And I vape when I am on here. I make sure I spend time with him. But there was no way I was going to watch 8 hours of Little League world series and then a Red Sox game today or any other day. Now, when football really starts, I will be in front of the TV every Sunday right with him.
Nite, Claudia. I was distracted for a bit because while we were talking about soaking heads, my ProTank with my Deadly Sin in it started gurgling and leaking. I had to pull out one of the heads I had soaking in alcohol, rinse and dry burn it. It's working great now.
