Finally killed the battery on the MVP2. Now recharging. It took about 27 hours and 635 puffs to do it. I am a happy camper. Now I want another one. Oh boy.

I am resisting trying the iclear16. I have an emotional attachment to my Evod and do not want it to get upset. And all those little wicky thingys in the iclear look like spider legs to me. Must be too close to Halloween and DH keeps watching all those horror movies.

So far the I 16s are my favorite topper of all that I have tried, they give the best flavor and last forever.

Tell me about it!!!

Are you really that bored, Dale?

How is the mouth doing? I am hoping it is feeling better. I am still waiting on my dentures to arrive. They were supposed to be in this week so I could take them home for a test drive. Not here yet. So more yoghurt and leftover enchiladas and rice and beans. Sigh....

Well, one more day to get through and gonna take a week off. Ugh...this early morning waking up is for the birds. Hopefully will have the energy during my time off to get stuff ready for Halloween.

And, vendor replied and confirmed that it contained oils and offered to change my request, which is pretty cool, so just got banana nut bread instead.

Awwww, bummer Shari! Sorry they didn't make it in to you:(

Mouth is starting to improve a bit :)
Yesterday was pretty rough what with all the swelling & soreness; plus I wasn't able to sleep much.
Hit the hay last night about 8 p.m. and made up for it tho', still sore & raw but much much better today!

Well  I guess anyway ... I did finally cave & start using the pain med's more ...

I am glad that you are finally using the pain medication. A lot of people think they are doing themselves a good thing when they do not use it. It is actually quite the opposite. When you are in a lot of pain, it raises not only your blood pressure, but also your blood sugar. Taking the pain medicine will actually help you relax more and help you heal. Less stress on your body.

Yes, I was not aware of that aspect of pain and stress either until I became diabetic. When I had my cervical fusion and my angioplasty with stents, while I was in the hospital they insisted on giving me insulin and not my regular Metformin. They said it was for tighter control of my blood sugar because stress of surgery can make it go crazy. And it took about 6 weeks after the surgery for my blood sugar numbers to get back to normal for me. The numbers were high for weeks, even though I no longer felt any pain or stress from the surgery. The body is amazing, for good and bad.

    Hello everyone,

Just popping in and out. Got m'labs back, things are looking good, now I'm pushing the doc a little on how much thyroid to take, but so far not much resistance. One more dose increase (to 2 grains, = to 200 mcg of synthroid) and another set of labs in 6 weeks. My TSH has gone to 1 (target), and my FT3 and FT4 are in "normal" range but low. Doc was OK with the numbers, but I want them to be higher so she agreed to the increase. She's more on the conventional side of how much thyroid is OK--but since I'm still having a few issues (like still cold and hair falling out) she agreed to more.

We'll see how it goes in 6 weeks--I'm preparing to maybe have to fight with her a little if my FT3 doesn't improve. That's what causes hypo symptoms, not the TSH or FT4--plus it's the one that if too low, or low-ish for too long causes major health issues (heart and bones).

This time the adjustment is a bit rough...so I'm really tired in the evenings.

A bit too tired to comment or keep up with you all here, but I didn't want anyone to think I had ditched ya.

Hopefully next week I'll be all adjusted and ready to join in the discussion.

Hope things keep improving for you Alisa :)

I've been thinking the same about you too, and the others here with health situations.

Are you still having the burning mouth thing? Or is that being taken care of with the tooth removal? I couldn't find the post where you mentioned it, only the aftermath. Hope you feel better soon!

I'll still have the BMS/Menopause in the mouth thing but this should improve matter's a lot :)
The steroid's did seem to help with that ... just not where the teeth rubbed.

Sounds like you are making great strides in the right directions there, alias. That is great news. Sorry the path has been so bumpy, but it looks like it is worth it. Good for you for being proactive. After this next set of labs, you should probably let it rest for several months just to see if there are small changes with no med changes. I am really happy for you.

Well, I guess getting them out will help. I hope that this is a short-lived problem and it eventually goes away. It doesn't sound fun at all.

It will probably be several weeks before you get a good idea on that Dale. Just saying it so you don't get anxious. Three teeth is a big thing, all at once. It will take a while. And wisdom teeth are real biggies, they are a lot bigger and deeper. Poor dear.
