Always knew those gub'mt people couldn't count or tell time. You should see the stuff they post on the fasttech thread about this. I thought delivering things a day or two before sorting was only in the San Francisco Post Office facility. No wonder they are broke. Oh, and I also read that the USPS does NOT charge foreign countries/companies to use our Postal service. They ship here for free! Rant over.

So USPS can apparently time travel now :glare:

Thought I'd post up in here and say "Hi!" to the others who are vaping and still stuck on the stinkies. I smoke maybe 3 or 4 on my days off from work and on days I work can be anywhere from 6-10 :( I was doing great, cigarette free for over 6 weeks then tried dropping nic from 18mg to 12mg and work got a little stressful and the cigarettes came back in my life and have been for a couple months now. Bought a Provari hoping that would make me totally switch back to vaping 100% but no luck. Back on the 18mg and thinking of maybe trying some 24mg.

When I first started I used 24mg but got headaches/sick feeling so I dropped to 18 and it was fine for me. A little discouraged since I really need to quit smoking, have a blood condition that makes me prone to blood clots (dealing with one now in my right leg) but I just can't get that confidence back that I had back in February and don't understand why. I know I can do it but this time I'm -afraid?- to :(

*Edit: Just thinking about how I've gotten myself swamped down with an RBA, several cartotanks, Vivi Nova, Protank, an eVic, mechanical mod...maybe I have just got to much stuff and it is seeming a little daunting to me and not knowing what I really want to use. I love the cartotanks but they don't take chain vaping that well (use a 50/50 mix with 2 holes) and they burn out in a matter of 2 days or so. Protank and Vivi Nova are good but the awful heat here in Texas means flooding when going from indoors to outside and it's a PITA. The RBA (AGA-T+) is nice when I have it set up and working good but it never seems to stay working good for long and I don't feel comfortable taking it on the go with me. Maybe I'll give 3 holes in the cartos a shot :glare:

Not really looking for pity, just wanted to throw this out there and show that there are more of us than we think :p Also sorry for such a long post.

I'm proud to say that in two weeks I only slipped up one day and that was day I had to put down my cat of 18 yrs. I had gone 5 days prior to that and it's been a week since that slip up. I don't even crave them anymore. I never thought I'd be able to say that.
Best of luck to all still struggling. It gets easier with time.

Gaspar. I'm so sorry to hear about your kitty-- that had to be such a horrible day for you.

Are you doing your extractions at a different phase with the tobacco? The ones I've tried tasted so grassy that it tastes as if they are making the extractions from the green plant it's self, or from not fully cured tobacco.
When I was about 10 or so a friend and I snuck and rolled up a bunch of grass/weeds in paper and tried to smoke it (we figured if tobacco was a plant this couldn't taste much different) ... omg, it was beyond disgusting. The first NET I tried was a flash back to that. Or, it could just be that I have weird taste buds.

This is what I experienced when I vaped the ....-Like Bold (mostly Tobacco Absolute). Granted it's not a NET, but there was this underlying taste of dead grass or dirt that is really not pleasant.

I've been trying a lot of tea flavored juices and the vast majority taste like how I would imagine my front lawn would taste. Nasty.

Congress isn't helping the USPS. They are not government funded, they do not receive tax dollars. They are supposed to be entirely self-funded. That worked before email. There are also some specific laws on the books that were initially put there so private sector companies like UPS and FED EX would be able to compete. I feel bad for the USPS. They are not allowed to be competitive and are taking fire from all sides.

I don't even bother looking anymore. The last Halo order I got (by the way, I will PIF any of the juices from the tobacco sampler if someone wants them--yuk!!) sat on the East Coast for a week, even though it had already been delivered to my mailbox.

Rut roooo ... do they taste like grass too? I've read a lot of great reviews about Halo and had considered trying them.

They've closed down about 1/3-1/2 of the post offices here and it's been miserable, and getting worse.

Hi guys. I want to talk but am having trouble putting words together.

Read to catch up. Cartos and tanks. Went and read a thread about it. Either they are loved or hated. Looks figgety and kinda complicated to me. I have one and it intimidates me, have not tried to figure it out yet.

Opened Lox's package. And out comes....WHAT??? A pack of cigarettes?????? No. Of course not. It looks like a pack of cigarettes, but when I look closer it is an "eHealth cigarette." I am afraid to open it, but I will. It is packaged just like a pack of cigarettes, cellophane and all. Ok, it is opened. Looks like a bunch of little plastic cigarettes in there, just like you would find real cigarettes in a real pack. All in a cigarette pack. This will need more careful exploration. Not now. You all will have to wait until my mind is functioning better. I think THANK YOU LOX - but I am not sure yet. Just found some directions. Looks like you plug the pack into the wall. More reading. Lox, what is this thing you have sent me?

Lox knows I am not technically inclined and he sends me something that I have to put together and the cigarette pack plugs into the wall. And I have to read directions. And I am also intellectually and emotionally challenged today, too. OMG, I have to plug something into the wall. I do not know if I am up to it today. I will do this tomorrow. There's always tomorrow and maybe my brain will work right then.

And I will laugh at and be embarassed by this post tomorrow.

And LOTS of bottles of juice! That I know I can say THANK YOU LOX right now for. Even before I try one. I know I am in for a treat.

Here is another site I saw a link to on the board, and I've been thinking about trying ... the prices are great, and I'll admit -- I think this description is beyond cute... "Mouth Celebration" and it's described as "You actually feel you have a party in your mouth.:laugh::laugh:

Has anyone tried their juices?

No grass, one of them is Jazz's favorite, although she mixes it with something else. I taste nothing but acetone. The rest taste pretty much like most of the other tobaccos I've had, but there's also something in them that tastes chemically to me. The only one I halfway like is Turkish Blend (or something like that). Whenever I try one I end up pouring it down the sink and getting out my Indigo.

It was a total waste of $25 for me, but I do know many people like them.

Tribecca is pretty good, a nutty and something taste. I've been slowly vaping mine away since the B&M I got it from only had 12mg in stock. Should switch it into my needle top bottle since the Halo bottle's have a horrid filler.

One thing I've noticed is most of the tobacco flavors taste like wood to me, or atleast what I would think would tastes like never tried it myself. I did thoroughly enjoy a "Make Your Own" from MBV that I did up with 2 parts butterscotch, 2 parts Virginia Fire Cured Tobacco, and 2 parts Irish Cream. At first something was a little overpowering but after a few days of steeping it got pretty tasty. Reminds me I do need to order a 30ml bottle of that and maybe try another with a little less butterscotch and more of the tobacco flavoring. Made me discover the fruit flavors are just meh to me prefer a more complex vape. I love MBV's Cinnamon Roll and the local B&M that I go to has a mouth watering liquid from their more expensive line-up ($20 for 30ml).

Edit- Like some of the early posts I read in here I wish I could find a vape like I did cigarettes and just stick to it. What sucks with vaping is the fact that after you use a flavor for a while it just loses its flavor. I've actually gotten what I think might be the 3 flavors I could do with but something always pops up and of course, "Hey I gotta try that!" Cleaned out my stash of liquids a month or so ago down to 4 bottles and I'm now back up to 10 with only 3 that I'm using :glare:
