vaping is working for me, but did not on the first try.

What I learned is to set aside 15 minutes each day
to make sure my equipment is in good shape.
Clean out the atomizers, old fluids, charge
batteries, make sure I have a good inventory
of liquids.
That way when I get a analog urge my vaping
gear is ready to go.

That is what I did wrong the first time, didn't invest enough in
good equipment and didn't know how to maintain it.

So to all my fellow addicts keep at it!!!!
you will find what works for you.

Aik, sounds like you know your stuff. Insurance is state controlled and Obamacare is not touching that with a ten foot pole. It stays the same. In TN is even goes by county. In my county DH has 3 choices for a Medicare Advantage care. If we lived about 3 miles away in the next county, he would have more than 6 choices. I have no choices. I am eligible to go to the County Health Clinic. You are allowed to call one phone # at 8am the first day of the month. I did that every month for a year and a half now. By the end of 3 or 4 minutes th line is no longer busy and I get through. The appts are always gone. Three months ago I talked to the lady and she must have slipped up because she told me they were down to one doctor and were only making 8 new patient appts in the whole month. I had to call back next month. This is for a whole county!

ERiSA is a whole other story. They have their own set of rules and regulations outside of state insurance laws. What a tough one. I think they are just waiting and hoping for all the sick people and old people to hurry up and die. Pretty sad. Just letting the insurance companies compete across state lines and in all counties would solve a little of this problem, more so for the people, not the insurance companies. That's why that won't happen.

There has got to be a way to play their game within their rules. You sound smart enough to figure it out. Gotta be a way. My sister plays the simpering miss and the doctors and nurses go out of their way to fall all over her and she smiles and tells them how smart they are and how kind of them to be so good to her. And she gets her way. She also has great insurance, which is a biggie. I can't play that role, doesn't work for me, I can't pull it off. I don't know what to tell you. Just that you are not alone.

TennCare has made headlines with it's scary shenanigans. KaiserFF.org is a good place to get info on state Medicare/Medicaid plans. It appears TN hasn't opted out of "Romneycare". So if your income is low enough, you'll qualify for Medicaid. If it's above that, there will be insurance pools and assistance to a certain percentage of income. If your above that, well any complaints are lost on me. Medical insurance isn't life and death at that level. It's a philosophical debate that rarely applies to real life, maybe it'll do well on Mars if we ever get there. LOL!

Something like 75million are in health plans affected by ERISA and they wanted to keep their current insurance (hoping they won't get sick I guess).

But it looks like Tennesse is in the game. Benefits will have a specific package of requirements, including wellness checks, doctors, networks and the whole shmoe. There's quite a few protections included. It should start ramping up Oct 1 for enrollments. I'm seeing now that TN is asking for waiver exceptions. No surprise I guess. If you want it, now might be a good time to write a letter since it's in the planning phase.

Happy birthday Alissa :bday:

Swedish fish are a wine gum not a gummy candy - different texture and stronger flavor ;) and the main ingredient is cranberry - no lime at all  lime? explains a lot :glare:

When it comes to gummy candy Haribo is the absolute best particularly gummy frogs :thumb:

No, it has not been ruled out yet, but the Govenor won't approve it and it is in the debate stage and since most of the reps are GOP that want out and a NO vote for the Medicaid expansion. This has been going on for months. They are still fighting. Unless I decide to to into end stage kidney failure or get ovarian or breast cancer, which I pray will not ever happen to me, I am out of luck. It is strongly leaning towards the opt out. This state is solidly republican right now and very pro gun and anti Obama everything. Unless something has changed in the past week or so and I totally missed it, that's how it currently stands. No to expand Medicaid and the Govt to handle the health exchanges. I have not been elible for TennCare for many years.

It figures MBV would get it all wrong. I got the description there of Swedish Fish because I could not remember what you told me it was Lox.

HAPPY JAZZ STALKING ANNIVERSARY

I've posted the recipe several times so here it is again for anyone interested.
50% cranberry
25% orange cream
25% raspberry (blackberry works too)
Mix at 15-20% flavoring then add Sweetener - until its as sweet as you like it.

I may have asked before, but do you have a particular flavor brand that you prefer? I've been looking at ordering everything from TFA, but is there something else you'd recommend?

You are just too much! Thanks for the thought but ice cream is not the same unless it is real. But it sure looks good. And your timing is always right when I could go for something. Glad to see you again. Are you just the ice cream fairy and flit around delivering delicious ice cream to people?

She delivers whatevers needed and gives the best hugs.
