That's what I picked up today. Love it! I've vaped almost a full 5ml cartotank in 3 hours. Is that bad?
Whats an SVD?do I need 1?
It's big and it's mean and it rawks. Dunno if you need one, but the price on fasttech is killer. I paid $112 at my B&M today including a Nitecore charger and two AW IMR 18650 batteries. Of course, I don't want to wait two weeks for anything!
Got my free 10ml sample of Cappuccino from Apollo today .... sighhhhh. It's going in the "needs to steep" pile, though I doubt steeping will help it. I hate to say something bad about a free sample, but I swear it tastes like a sinus infection.
AW IMR 18650 (button top). It's rather large, but I don't mind that. I work from home, so just plunk it down next to my laptop and rip on it.
It's great build quality, very hefty and sturdy feel. The buttons are really nice, as is the screen. Ohm meter is there, and the wattage adjustment is a dream for me (my first VW experience). Right now I've got a low-res smoktech carto on there with a smoketech tank. Flavor is better (I think it's the wattage) than my iTaste MVP.

Oh, and a heads up - I threw an eVod on there at the same voltage/wattage settings that I was running my carto-tank. Checked the meter and saw 2.6ohms. Took a nice long hit, burned the hell out of it. Dunno what I did wrong there, but it was bad. I turned the wattage way down to 6 (it had been at 9.5) and still got burnt tasting hits.
There's quite a discussion on it. I guess FT sent out V3's in error and it should be the V2. The V3 battery only is "coming soon".
That's what I was afraid of! I love love love my evods/t3's but only at low watts. Guess I'm not cut out to vape high wattage, because I don't like cartos/tanks, or haven't had the right one yet. . .
I think all of Innokin's vv/vw products are going to use similar internals. They aren't like Vision where they don't manufacture but buy from a bunch of different factories.
I switched to a different eVod just to set this out. at 6 watts it's perfect. I think that burnt taste I got on the first big hit contaminated the flavor of the juice I had left in the first eVod.
Does anybody use a nitcore intellicharger? I had a question about the lights.

Conclusion? My charger's broken. Out of the box. Gotta go back to the B&M.
I assure you I do not know everything. Very little anyway. Mty Zmax V@ has an option of RMS or the other one. RMS is supposed to keep the wattage constituent until the last drag. Now my CVI only has RMS. I think the Evic is RMS and I have the new SID that I bought cause it was VW and purple

Well I was wondering where you were.
I just finished cleaning one of the filters in the pond, gee that was fun. Now I have to run get him some stinkies since he's not on the bandwagon yet, not sure he will ever get on it since he's not sure it's actually safer, we'll see when/if the huge tax raises hit here and they go up $10 a carton or more.
I think I've got a bit of vaper's tongue going on, none of my juices taste strong enough at all except for the red apple, hope it passes quickly.

That was a great telling of your vaping experience and makes complete sense to me. Actually explains the volts/watts thing pretty good. Sounds like you found a small format device that will give you what you want. Awesome! Stick it in your pocket and go. At 800mah how long can you get out of one charge? You might have to get a few of them to be safe.
I also was one the Innokin website yesterday or the day before. The new VTR that is a vv/vw and you can change an 18650 bat is supposed to be released for sale any day now. It is the format of an MVP if you like that shape.

Ok long ramble story coming. But I think the background info is needed to make the point.
So when I first started vaping I got a 306 cig alike kit (egos weren't invented yet). I quit smoking 3 days later. But after awhile as I wasn't getting enough vapor so I began my quest for more power. Started making box mods, got a chuck (could do 7.4) then egos and LR atties came out. The higher voltage was great. I then got a buzz and figured out 5V was the sweet spot. I picked up several 5V regulated vyprs and a GLV. However I also started moving away from tobacco and into the sweeter juices and that's when the problems started. Quite a few tasted bad at the higher Voltage - I think because the sugars burn. I also didn't like the TH so i lowered my nic to 8-12mgs. I also switched back to egos (and smoking) and Jazz got me a provari so I could turn DOWN the voltage. While I thought the flavors were better the vapor itself was unsatisfying. I continued to smoke and vape both. Then I upped my nic to the 18-24 range but still wasn't satisfied. Tried wta and still just wasn't getting the leffects I was looking for.
I think I've found the solution. It's not the volts - it's the watts. Here's why. As I said and many of you may have the same issue sweeter stuff sucks at high voltage - but turning it down you lose the vapor and the warmth. Now I thought I didn't like warm vapor but turns out I love the warmth not the burnt. On this new itaste I just got with the voltage at 3.7 and the watts at 9.5 I'm getting great lung filling low TH WARM vapor. At 4.0 and 9.5 it's incredible. While I still don't intend to quit completely (IBD health reasons) I don't think I'd have the slightest problem quitting with this set-up.
Sorry for writing the not so great American novel but maybe it will help some of you
