Whew!! Good thing I slept late and had Pepsi this morning! You ladies chatted me cross-eyed!
I stayed up until 2-ish and slept until after 10, so wasted a lot of the day again, but whatcha gonna do? I have many irons in the fire today, will pop in from time to time on breaks.

You aren't alone there Shari. I am also toothless, or very nearly so. For me it is the panic disorder, the only way I can go into a dentist's office is to be highly sedated and I go into a full blown panic attack even thinking or talking about going. My appearance is very embarrassing to me but I may just have to live with it as I fear I have lost too much bone to be able to have dentures. I hate the food limitations, but have learned to live with it and can still eat most things but of course not all.
Ony 11? Mine started when I was in my late 30's they have started tapering off a little the last couple of years but still not gone and I'm 65.
I never took any hormones either after watching my mom go through surgeries to remove fibroid breast tumors, when my hot flashes started that was the only nasty thing they had begun to associate with HRT. I'm so happy I toughed it out because I am pretty sure that is what caused most of her other health problems and eventually her death at 63. I've not had any of the health problems she had, well except for the panic disorder. I think she started taking Premarin when I was about 10 and took them every day until she died.

Actually the hot flashes come in handy in the winter, lol, I can go outside without a jacket for a few minutes and they go right away. They aren't much fun in the summer though. The last couple of years they really aren't that bad, just a very few some days.
I didn't actually lay down to sleep until about 3:30 and got up at 10:00 and sat here sipping coffee to try to wake up while going through all of the posts.
Yep. There's a better return on stocks over 20 years than there is on SS. And if something happens like in 2009, it's MY money I'm risking, no one else's. Heck, I could keep the money I pay in SS under my mattress and still come out ahead.
My cats LOVE Animal Planet, especially big cat week. They'll sit on the couch with us and be completely enthralled. Sometimes they'll even race to the screen and try to "catch" something that's moving. They ONLY do that when there's another animal on screen, not just random images.
She broke ECF!
That's why I drink Diet Coke...not because it's "diet" but because the normal stuff is wayyy too syrupy.
Most doctors think I am funny, realize I am smart and know I know my hubby and his illness all too well. Before I could get to the hospital yesterday the kidney doctors office was in changed his meds and took over. They also called for an update when I was there and at least twice more yesterday. I told Bill if the admitting doctor says a word tell him straight up I made the call. An unusual side effect of his cancer is that his sodium drops dangerously low. We keep catching it before he slips into a coma. I'm sure he will be discharged and begin chemo immediately. Saw his kidney Dr two weeks ago and he is convinced the petscan was wrong last time and the cancer is back. He is also sure that the 2 rounds of chemo was not enough. The oncologist coddles and the kidney Dr speaks the truth. The kidney Dr found the lung cancer originally. Sorry this is so long but partial answers generate more questions than give answers. His sister went to the hospital today to give me a break. Tomorrow I have an appointment with a shoulder surgeon as I fell several months ago and tore my rotator cuff. One step at a time. I came in last night to an empty house. 4 dogs shouldn't feel like an empty house. Every time he got sick in the past I had a house guest. Therefore I would appreciate prayers and pm s from my friends. They will make the silence less obvious. Just please don't expect a rapid reply. Incase your wondering I am smoking full time. Going to grocery shop now that I've beaten the house into submission. The girls are a big help! Hopefully each will go to bed at a decent hour, because 6 am comes real early in the morning. I'm more worried about me getting up on time than them.

Ok this post has nothing to do with anyone or anything in this thread I'm just throwing it out there because there's so many new people here and a lot of discussion on gear and juice.
Pif is a social group and suppliers are prohibited from discussing anything to do with their or anyone else's businesses. Because of this rule I don't allow negative reviews or statements about vendors - they can't respond so its not fair to them. Now I'm not talking about juice or something you got you don't like. Like "I got some juice from schmukateli's skank juice and it tasted like dried farts" I'm talking about stuff like I bought a cig kit from rippmehoff enterprises and they stole my address and broke into my house and planted dust bunnies under my furniture."
It's one thing to say I got something I didn't like - its another thing to say you were cheated or scammed. If you feel you were treated unfairly by a vendor ECF has a section for negative reviews where suppliers can respond. It's only fair that BOTH sides of a story be heard.
