Welcome. Read it all, huh? A girl like me. Gotta read it all. Since you made it and are still posting, you are going to fit right in here. Some of us (me!) keep some pretty weird hours so just about any time is right to come visit. We are here for help and support and just plain ole fun. Come on back when you are ready.

I just wanted to say hi to all. I have read every page and am a little cross eyed at the moment. Will introduce myself once I can get my eyes to focus lol. Oh and I think this is a kick a group here. Hope there's room for 1 more.

So I am trying to figure out what to cook for dinner. After the real Italian from last night, I think I might just let DH eat the cold leftover pizza, cuz I can't come up with something to top that today. Still in my stupor from the all nighter. Maybe I'll make tuna fish sandwiches and macaroni and cheese.

Not quite up to Sunday dinner standards, but DH is mowing the lawn and fun stuff like that, trying to beat the impending threat of rain. When he does all that, he isn't in the mood for a nice sit down dinner. We have been together so long that if he is not going to eat, I don't bother to cook. Discovered several years back that if I cook a big fancy dinner and he is too tired or "not in the mood" to eat when I put it on the table I get real po'd. So we have come to the understanding that I don't do fancy dinners if he's not eating with me. Seems to be working good on boths sides. I make sure that there are lots of choices to just grab and nuke something in the fridge and I am always up to throwing together a quick omelette if he do desires. Thank goodness no need to worry about balanced diets for little ones anymore.

I am the mostest hostess. I gave guests other options too. Like cleaning something else, or breaking something, like the Greeks do. Hey, I did that in style. You missed a good celebration. But the important thing is you are here now and stuck with me and the rest of us.

I missed your ashtray cleaning/breaking party. Unfortunately, my ashtrays already got cleaned a while back.

This is us--except mine will open the fridge and see nothing. So I still have to cook/prepare something but he's usually OK with "whatever" (as long as it has ground beef in it, lol).

I was stuck with you then, too. But I was at work and couldn't participate. :)

This is another one that had me falling out of my chair. They were so funny I couldn't even bring myself to post in it, but I read every post over several days. Cigarette Newbie

I think I read the first 15-20 pages from the first day it was posted...definitely some laughs. I hear it got better as it went on but I have a hard enough time keeping up with one 100+ page thread!

If mine doesn't see something he can nuke quickly, then we "don't have anything in the house to eat". Gaaahhh....men!

Hey everyone! We went to Sweet Frog and they have made my oldest child's day, no the whole year. There is this Asian drink-stand in our mall where you can buy Bubble Tea. It's REALLY far away, so we don't go often. The Sweet Frog frozen yogurt topping bar has 2 kinds of "bubbles" from bubble tea. She had chocolate yogurt with mango and strawberry bubbles. Life is good, for $3.50.

We are all done shopping, have lunches for the week, have new clothes and shoes and socks and sundries all laid out for getting dressed in the morning, have 24 glue sticks and hand sanitizer and kleenex and hand soap and boxes upon boxes of crayons and pencils, you all remember this don't you? All we need now is a small miracle to happen, all of us fall asleep instantly at 9 pm and magically awaken at 6 am and NOT fight over the bathroom.

What are the odds?
