When I was married to him I made more money than he did, yet he would rant and rave about my spending habits.( of course now I wish I had some of that money) Anyway, at first I would do what I was told like the good little girl that I am , later no holds barred shopping trips, so much fun! It was christmas everyday! Depression does that to you, you try to buy your way out of it.

Hubby #1 - we were teenagers, no money to spend. Hubby #2 - would match his spending on toys, then outdo him. Not a good thing or outcome. Hubby #3 - we are ok, I am broke. It's good, but I have to control myself and try to behave. Hate not having my own source of income. First time I have not had my own $. Don't like it. Sooner or later I will figure something out to bring some money in for me.
